Had to give this a go as i always loved Galaga 88 on the PC Engine.
The first thing that grabs you is the graphics. The use of colour and the amount of enemies is mesmorising - it sure is pretty.
Anyway, its typical Galaga formula here. Waves of enemies string around the screen to be shot at. The difference is each wave has a key enemy, shoot this enemy and the whole string is destroyed. Then there is your ship which has 2 satelites. These can be deployed by pressing the right anologue stick in the desired direction. This holds them in place shooting in the direction you pressed, so you can leave them to shoot at formations entering from the side for example whilst you attack elsewhere.
I'm just scratching the surface here but it seems a very slick and fun game, so thumbs up from me so far.
