Space invaders get even JPN wiiware

Downloaded this today costs 500 points & the extra stage packs are 500 points extra, takes up just over 300 blocks. Come on nintendo enough is enough the wii can only hold a few wiiware games & thats if you delete everything else off.

Anyway back to the game, this is pretty fun. This time the little buggers have a chance to rage destruction on earth & your in control YAY.

The game is done in stages & eveything in the city can be blown up, you control the ufo with the nunchuck & the remote is used to guide the target round, the B button changes the attack formations & A button fires the little buggers at where your pointing. The invaders themselves are the ammo you use & you keep a reserve in your ufo by collecting pods, you shake the remote or nunchuck when your running low to restock. If you run out of invaders you die, you lose invaders each time your hit.

There are several attack formations, shot, homing, hopping, drill, burst. Theres also a special attack where your ufo calls the mother ship & it rips the **** out of everything independance day style.

The game levels have an objective before you start, stage 1 you have to destroy 4 towers that look like the eifiel tower theres mini bosses & full blown bosses to take out as well as tons of hidden stuff & scoring bonuses.

For each building you take out gives you a time bonus that adds to your clock & lets you keep playing, if your time runs out the stage ends.

This game like star soldier is very focused on scoring & theres lots of scoring achivement bonuses to try for as well as finding hidden bonus medals that net you mega points, theres online ranking where you can submit your scores to see how good you are.

Sounds & looks very nice too, really enjoying it so far.

Heres a vid to show you what its like

Go in & click watch in hi def to see it a lot better.

Each stage has a set time to complete it in, but if you run over it's okay. You get the same bonus for completing the stage within the time no matter how much time is left so you use all the time you have.
