I'm loving this more than I loved the first game (which was a lot) and am really not that far in yet, still running around Bowerstone for the first time.

One problem I have is that the camera seems to get a little bit blurry, anyone else noticed this?

I played this for like six hours straight this afternoon, and I don't think I've done that with a game since Twilight Princess. Absolutely loved it.

I think I did a fair amount of the main story - got to the end of the Ritual quest - but most of my time was spent exploring and messing around. If the measure of an RPG is its towns this is up there with the best because they have so much personality. I've already got my eye on a particular house in Bowerstone and I got myself up to four stars on blacksmithing largely to fund it.

Plus it looks gorgeous, both technically and, more importantly, artistically. When going from Bowerstone to Oakfield I arrived right as the sun was starting to go down and the rays were coming through the trees in the orchard and it was just beautiful. I can't wait to explore some more.

I called my dog Chief because I wasn't feeling very creative.

Loving this at the moment. Its been the first time in a while I cant stop thinking about a singleplayer console game. I was at work this evening and all I was thinking about was when I got home I would play Fable 2. Normally console games get tossed aside for Warcraft 3 the frozen throne (the rts, not the life destroyer!).

My only gripe with it at the moment is how the menus feel quite laggy, anyone else getting this?

Well I played this for about 4 hours today and honestly I'm having mixed feelings for it. Recently I just don't seem to like alot of games so I think I'm being overly critical with this as it is stunning when you think about it all.

It just seemed a bit slow to get started maybe, and it didn't have the wow factor I was expecting when I first put it on. It doesn't feel like there is alot to do that's actually fun and useful off the beaten path. You have your main storyline and then you have lots of other wee mini game kinda stuff that seems a bit thin to me on first impression. This could just be me being quite fussy though, I do like chatting birds up then leaving them alone and have loads of women following me around! I've spent time actually doing some of the jobs to get money. Went round stealing stuff off people in their houses when they are not looking, even funnier when it's off a female I spent half an hour talking to and giving silly gifts to and dancing in front of, then you jump upstairs and steal all her gold! Then I would start to give presents to straight guys, doing dances and chatting them up, they kept saying things like "ohh err I think you have the wrong person!".

So things like that keep me amused as it's quite open ended in that respect with every character you come across having their own name and place in the world.

And it does look pretty I think. Very vibrant and colourful when walking around in the countryside but sometimes some of the texturing looks quite bland and dull.

One thing I definitely don't like though is the controls and camera. Aside from the fact that your player hovers along the ground and doesn't run properly which I find astounding that they actually released the game like that. Looks so silly. But when running around I feel I'm always struggling to make the character not bump into things and get caught on scenery. Along with fighting with the camera to make it look where I want it to.

So to summarise, after 3-4 hours play, I don't feel the magic I wanted and expected to feel from the game just yet but I can see there is enough in the game that it might still grab and amaze me. Even if it doesn't though, it's still a solid game that I will gladly finish through and no doubt spend countless hours just mucking about doing silly stuff in.

I got this on tuesday and i'm lovng it! The amount of stuff that's possible in this is amazing. It has so many possible things to do, each with a real consequence. Also the constantly evolving world and real lives each person, shop and family adapts to is far greater than most games. Reminds me sort of like Shenmue; except better.

            Definately deserves the Edge 9/10.

Good stuff so far but the dog isn't half glitchy.

Several times this evening he got jammed on scenery like his spine had snapped and sticking his arse straight up in the air. I had to totally leave him behind and hoped that he re-spawned at a certain point when a cutscene kicked in (thankfully he did). That and him spinning around for no apparent reason like it does it some games when you spin the thumb controller round and your charcter rotates on his axis (ooh er etc).

Kind of defeats the object of trying to get me to become emotionally attached to him if he keeps breaking that by reminding me he's just a set of bugged AI routine

Other than that, it's more Fable fun. I've taken it slow so only just got back to Bowerstone after the very first quest. A lovely looking game too.

I love the gamerpic circles appearing when a mate in your friends list is in the same area as you.

Confused the crap out of me at the start as an Atari pic showed up right when the bird craps on the boys head and I thought "Haha Lionhead are calling atari ****!" as i thought it was a censor or something for the crap

I was like "ahhh it's some kinda robot thingy from the future!! " Then I realised.

That's actually my only complaint so far. I ran into hoolak's orb in the starting area and Bowerstone a couple of times and seeing the Torres jersey is a pretty quick way to ruin anything. I was so put off I almost went and played the Wii.

Although, to be fair, a fantasy world is where you expect to find Liverpool fans

Really enjoying it, but it does have some little niggles.

Can't seem to intereact with a shopkeeper from over the counter, leaving me to scoot around to the shopkeeper's side. This just me?

Also, I have an exclamation point next to my Clothing option, but I've looked at everything in there, but it's still there...hmm.

But yeah, you can just go missing from the main story in this for hours on end. Put it this way, according to the stats I've been playing for 5 and a half hours... I've only completed two quests!

That's it, right there! That is what makes the game great. You can be meaning to go on a quest but then you get distracted by something else which leads to you going somewhere totally different than originally intended.

So who is married and has kids or a kid?!

Well, I thought I'd go a woman.. y'know, something nice to look at (jiggling) whilst I'm playing...maybe try and chat woman up, which to my surprise, you can. Checking NPC's stats reveals whether they're gay or straight. So, if I want a babba, I'm gonna have to find a fella and kill him after sex....well I am an evil woman afterall. Being evil has its visual downsides My skin is flaking or something

Try going to the stylist and getting a new "image". I did that yesterday with my dude (Blade as he is known) and got a mullet done. Went back into town and people were laughing at me! Back I went to the stylist (wish I could demand a refund) and got the long emo hair style which people seem to dig.
