I'm only a little way in but I do agree with some of the things you said (except the dog swimming thing - the Head of Tha Dog just glides, man, an ah be talking about the real life), but I'm going to wait a few hours to see if they affect me. At the minute I'm in the camp of 'there's a lot of design issues, but it's a big step in the right direction for RPGs as far as actually playing a role (rather than a heavily scripted linear character path) goes, so I can overlook them and be very encouraged by what they're trying to do.'

I have only played it a few hours and am loving it. I do agree with some of the points made, the dog doesn't bother but the loading times really annoys me. Also, there is a delay when you want to interact with signs/people etc. It doesn't seem as fluid as I would have liked.
Lots of fun though. I do enjoy smasing hobbes around with the force push.

I went into the decorating mode in my house, didn't change anything as I hadn't bought furniture. However, the message that comes up in the black border at the top of the screen about buying furniture from the shop won't go away. I'm in Oakvale now and its still there. I saved and turned it off yesterday, and its still there this morning!!! Any ideas how to remove it?

Also, does anybody want to spoil how you get the three 100G achievements for strength, skill and will? Can you get all three in one playthrough?

Caved in on friday and got this, even though i told myself i wouldn't as i wanted to wait for the dash update on 360 to do the installs.

Have to say that while ive enjoyed it immensely so far the game has serious issues (as others have said) that have been overlooked by every review in the world it seems (including edge).
*Major clipping issues, ive become stuck several times on scenery so far, in combat and general adventuring. I never had this on the first, why is it suddenly a issue?
*No armor? now i know this is a slight point, but theres not a single piece of armor in the game and the clothing range is very limiting, thus not really giving you much of a choice on your appearance.
*Terrible terrible map. Wheres it gone? its quite a basic fundamental feature in a game like this to have a decent map, they tell you where everything is, and where you've been. They also give everything a sense of place in the game world, fable2 lacks this, i have no idea of how the world hangs together at all, as such the game world actually feels smaller than 1 because of it, shame.
*its a quiet peaceful beautiful atmosphere in albion, shame its ruined but the jet turbine that is the 360 (my fault for not waiting on this point but hey ho, shouldn't need to wait really should i).



Its got plenty of plus points of course, which i dont need to go into, but for a first party major release for the year, 4 years of dev, its a bit shoddy.

It doesn't help you at all, but I'm getting exactly the same problem having followed the same steps. I've done extra missions and all sorts, but it keeps returning

I think theres only one per universe (profile/xbox live) so you've got to work with others. I actually had two, one from the website, but I stupidly gave one to my kid without realising the achievement value behind it.

Yeah I was hoping someone here would have them and we can do a trade around with them. IE: I have all 6, give them to you. Then give them back to me. etc. etc.

Well I've got one as well. So what we'd need to is all meet up, and transfer them all to one person, and then that person transfers them around the 5 peeps.

Was excited to find this arrive through the door on Thursday, played it a bit then and Friday but not hooked yet. Think it's gonna be a grower like Oblivion was, took me a while to get into that as well.

Do you need gold membership to see the orbs of other people online?

Yeah you get all 3 in one play thru, they are all linked to the main story.

There is also a 4th 100 cheev which is ruler of albion: amass 2.5 million prop empire. In other words buy everything in sight
