I gave the online multiplayer a bash earlier on this, its quite a hoot and theres so much variety.

Also been working through the single player and having alot of fun building new vehicles, its alot more enjoyable once you have a nice selection of parts to use.

Jumped in on this as it's come down in price

I so wanted to love it having just been through the original on XBLA but after collecting 10 jiggies I don't know if I can stand anymore...

Everything about this game is great - beautiful, original, funny, great production value but the challenges themselves are the most laborious things I've every seen.

Drive this here as fast as possible
Go collect this as fast as possible
Race against X as fast as possible

This kind of thing just sucks all the life out of the adventure.

They should have been using the vehicles as a side product to achieve things, not basing the entire game around it...Like Kazooie's special moves in the first game.

I may persist a bit longer but if these missions stay the same and it's the difficulty that curves (which is what I think is going to happen) this game unfortunately will find itself gathering dust

Picked this up for £20 yesterday... enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Made an uber quick racer by making a flat wide chassis, and banging on every engine I had in my inventory - was practically undriveable, so I changed the wheels to all driven and steering - much better; great fun, great customisation.

When I get bored of that, I'll just add a couple of folding-wings and some propellers, and take to the sky!!!

Wholeheartedly agree with the "put in what you want out of it" comment...

How do you change what drives and steers? I didn't see that in the demo?

Go onto wheels and press Left Bumper to bring up the information panel - then it's on the right...

That alone gives vehicles a whole new ball-park of fun!

Wow thanks. I might have to try that on the demo, I can see that making loads of difference to some designs I made. The full game for me is a christmas pressie.

Yeah - it's good fun - I wonder whether any other items have secret customisation you can edit like the wheels...

I know you can adjust propellers to be pushers or pullers, which allows me a swamp hovercraft (big flat cushion, with a massive propellor on the back, and shed loads of engines to give it tons of grunt, grrrr!!)

I just got this and good God, it's really fantastic stuff. Yet another game where the demo has done a lot more damage than good.

The main area is a joy to explore around and find the vehicle parts. I've spent more time doing that than the actual levels so far.

I'm really looking forward to designing some uber vehicles and smashing those time trial times (and smashing TT Tony's face in).

And the humour is just.....wonderful. What a surprise. I'm amazed more pople aren't falling in love with this.

                    T'is rather good isn't it?!

Visually it is really impressive, moreso than I thought it would be. The environment are vibrant and full of colour.

I turned it on a couple of days ago with the intention of playing for an hour but ended up playing for 4 hours instead.

As you said the humour is great, little nods to gaming (past and present) are just genius. Logbox 720 anyone?!

I like it too! Put in a few hours today. Loved the

Got it few weeks ago I played couple of hours, so many games though.
First part when you fire it up I thought was hilarious re-introducing the characters and when you first meet L.O.G, if they included that bit in the demo it would have got a few more smiles, really is taking the piss out of itself at times, forgot how funny Rare games could be.
Even with this new fangled collect-a-parts and make new veichiles didnt realise how much scope there was til I checked online....

                        Very nice

Haha what a quality plane! That photo provides a major incentive to hunt out all the parts cubes! Imagine making some kind of tank out of those parts, with egg cannons strapped onto the front

                          LOL x-wing!

I'm really getting into the vehicle creation. What I love about it is the depth married with the simplicity. There's so much that affects the vehicles, from aerodynamics to wheelbase.

The pacing of the game has been perfectly pitched thus far. It starts off with not really having to do much tinkering and then slowly draws you in. I spent ages designing a cart for the football game. When I finally got the requisite number of goals, I noticed that the top player in the world has 100 goals! The possibilities to create vehicles that Rare had never even contemplated are staggering.

I've just discovered the photo mode too. Is it just me, or is this possibly the most beautiful game yet made?

And the game just got me big time with it's humour. The bit during

Klungo Saveeees teh World where the screen goes like the 360 has broken

had me genuinely fooled until the game finally showed the punchline. Brilliant!

It is superb. I took some stunning shots of my helicopter in the Colosseum area, flying high, zoomed right into Banjo's face. The clarity and detail of him up close is really charming. There's so much care gone into the art design too, this game has more visual character than a dozen drab shooters.

I bought this in the gamestation sale and I'm glad I did. I've not played the full version yet but loved the demo where others seemed to dislike it. I think once you've gotten over the initial shock of it not being a traditional platformer then people will be more open to it's charms and quirks.

I think it would've done much had they sold it at budget price as it was in the states.
