I just got this, its pretty neat for the DS. I'm working my way around the translations, seems not too bad, but I do find it difficult to work out what some items are, mainly weapons and some of the mats.

Another thing, is I find aiming at stuff kind of hard sometimes, is there a way of locking on to an enemy? Also, when you run out of the mats that put your mana up, or stuff like monomate, I find it pretty clunky having to go into my menu whilst fighting..mainly the bosses. ..maybe i'm doing something wrong?

Overall its proving very addictive, I would have waited for the US release, but I aint waiting a year.

I just wish ST would stop messing around and make a proper updated PSO, similar to this, but for 360, PS3, Wii etc.

That's what PSU is though.

PSZ is a tailored version for the DS, playing to it's strengths/weaknesses, wouldn't make sense to see it anywhere else.

Yeah I know about PSU, but lets be honest, it isnt a patch on the old PSO, thats why I like this version better, its more like the original PSO. I think most people would agree that PSU is pretty ropey, hence its poor sales and the fact that hardly anyone plays it.

briaroes i played PSO for 2 years on my DC then PSU for a year but as said it pretty easy to pick up and with chat you can see on screen others could tell you what things are as for characters depends on your style i was a FOmarl a Force level 200 on PSO so that like support class healing with magic fire ice spells for damage and as MUD says he likes in your face fighting read my post about classes im a RAmar trying something new but you can try and see what you enjoy i like the community side too working together

Super Hard online is unlocked at Level 60.

Super Hard offline is unlocked by finishing every single Hard quest. And yes, that DOES include Eternal Tower...

c) I think many were expecting a fantastic game, but felt it wasn't as good as PSO.

I just found a cannon bleu, bazooka usable only by lv80 rangers. It has stats 45/12/0/39. Seven stars, unique rare. According to psupedia, this is the most powerful weapon in the game, based on ATP. Can anyone confirm if that is the case?

Does anyone know how rare this item is? Im guessing very. Anyone else managed to find one? Im really chuffed as in 1000 hours or so in PSO, the rarest thing I found was a red dagger (no joke) and that was on my first ruins run on normal!

EDIT: Found on super-hard machine level, online, lv82 Hucast.

The Cannon Blue can't combo, but as far as rocket launchers go, yes it's the most powerful in the game and a very, very good find!
