I was very elated when I one my first few online matches as well. I'm not great at the game as you can tell.

To go with turtling Balrogs, I can now add turtling Vegas. Played three of them yesterday, all doing the same thing; just crouch block, charging the wall dive and backflipping away to avoid my attacks and maybe an occasional EX attack dive or roll. Very, very boring. Not offering any real offence at all.

You have to be quite defensive with Vega now as he is quite weak and takes damage easily. His ability to frustrate is his best weapon.

Thanks for the kind words man, but I still feel like a beginner - I need to work on being a bit more consistent; too often I get 'the fear' & then it all goes to rubbish I need to decide on a back up character to use as well.

I really enjoyed our matches too - we seem to be about even stevens I think, although I didn't have many answers to your Vega or Blanka; just teleporting to avoid the wall dive felt a little bit feeble
