There is a nice new corkscrew device on the moon that has great stretching potential. I like how the avatars on GIRL have changed on the Moon to Mars journey!

I think it might have been if you were online at the time - but I came on later (About eleven) and it played for me once I had logged into the world.

Considering this has a fairly low budget appearance, a lot of thought and polish has gone into the contribution side of this game I think. Makes me wonder if they might have a more in depth use of this kind of functionality planned for other games in the future.

Had my first play on the moon last night.

Love that you can see GIRL wrapped around the planet, and all the subtle changes. The gravity, the dome shaped buildings, the new sun, all the stars. The astronauts look ace too.

It's a really special game, this. Think I'll be playing it for months if the level of change is the same for every planet.

I think they'll cheat a bit. The fanbase just wouldn't be there in 2+ years time to justify the wait. Perhaps some clever ways to increase the stretching, or even a means for GIRL to stretch faster.

I'm wondering what the rumoured DLC will be - it seems the planets will be unlocked as and when we've done enough stretching - perhaps it will be new toys as above, or something even more random. Either way, can't wait.

Perhaps online multiplayer, so you can play with friends on the one stage. That would be cool!

Hmmm, dunno. They have the head and rear of BOY, but they are connected by 2 green balls. I couldn't eat them, but perhaps I wasn't big enough at the time. There is certainly some pretty wacky stuff on the moon!

This is the fastest manual method I have found to stretch so far - gains about 4 metres per second, but it is possible to snap:



I say 'manual method' as people on gamefaqs have been rigging it so that the metres ticks up constantly when you are in small pink form, and leaving it running. This is probably doing wonders for the Mars effort but when you do it that way you can't actually move your BOY or do anything at all, so I don't feel it's really in the spirit of the game. It probably makes the creator cry. It also still doesn't explain how a couple of people got to 5-6 million in a couple of days, as it's not THAT fast.

I noticed we are losing quite a few daily contributors (6000 yesterday compared to 8000 the day before), obviously people are going to lose interest eventually but I hope every BOY here remembers that it's a community effort and tries to contribute at least a small amount per week! This is a long term project we're involved in here
