we've all got them, games you can't resist buying over and over again just cos its on a new platform, even though nothing new has been added.

think i can safely add Peggle to the list of Bomberman, Mario Kart, Mario 2d platformers and Bubble Bobble.

what can I say about this, well its a lovely very shiny version of peggle that you can now play with 5:1 surround sound and on a 50" screen.

er, thats about it, can't see they've added much new though there are some online modes, er what else, the ball physics seem very good and unlike the DS the ball is round and not a small square floating around, plus there's no slow down.

thats it really, its peggle, hopefully the free trial will get some more converts hooked to this gaming crack.

Is there a multiplayer mode where you play on the same board simultaneously rather than taking turns? Always thought that'd be an ace way to play peggle (monkey target 2!)

don't think so, there is an alternate go either locally or online and something called Peggle Party (for up to 4)

as all of you seem to have jobs and I'm the only dole scum with time to waste though I couldn't find anybody to get a party going at this hour !

As far as I'm aware you can play on the same board at the same time - thats the whole 'hook' with the XBL version, it's what I've been waiting for so I hope it's there?

these online leaderboards are gonna be super addictive, I have the 26th best score on the first level and have just wasted 15mins playing the same level again and again trying to better it.

This is freakin' awesome. I think I'm going to spend the rest of my life playing Peg Party.

You don't take shots on the same board, but you play simultaneously on your own version of the same board, and you have ten shots to get the highest score. When you've taken your shot you can watch everyone elses in progress, and there's a little thing at the side with a rough status of everyone's current shot, what they've hit, whether they've got a special, are they in fever... It's brilliant

The lack of a cursor makes judging long shots slightly harder than on PC, but that's the only downside I can find

had never played Peggle til this afternoon....now I am horribly addicted.
went straight thru the adventure mode, gave me a nice taster although I only got 16.5 million. the 20 million achievement will surely be no prob for you experst tho

done a few challenges and online duels...best use of 800 points in a while!

never played it before, but after trying the game I just had to buy it.... it's quite addictive, I couldn't stop as well, "just one more go..... "
