    Hacolife (DSiWare)

    Official site.

This game...has taken over from many of the other games I'm trying to play. I've got it so bad I have to leave my DSi buried under stuff to stop me from playing it.

The idea is simple: use your scissors and cut out cardboard shapes to make boxes.
Add in the fact that any unused squares come off your final (timed) score and that's the "Factory" mode. Oh and there are bombs that will destroy squares if you don't wrap them in a box.

"Trial" mode is basically a puzzle mode.

Simple is good here. It's all about those high scores.

Well worth the 500 points it costs.

I love these bite size games as I no longer comute a long distance, making them perfect for a coffee break and one of the main reasons I`m looking forward to the EU DSi.
My only fear is the EU DSi store being a let down. Time will tell.

I was kind of disappointed with Decode but playing this would convince me to get a DSi if I didn't already have one.

        You know you want one...

Almost a foregone conclusion, isn't it?

True. Perhaps I'm being unfair in imagining that the Japanese VC store is bursting with releases compared to the EU one. Still sore after 50Hz and... well, Nintendo Europe in general.

Downloadable GBA games would certainly be a good workaround for the lack of a GBA port, provided the prices are sensible.

                Sounds pretty fun actually.

I've only downloaded the original Art Style games that first came out with the DSiWare store, i've not actually checked out any of the newer downloads apart from Mr. Driller.

                May have to purchase.

Just the same as the Wii one really. Although each screen of the shop can only display 2 games and there's no scrolling. That I don't like.
I'm very happy with Hacolife, I just hope other games that come out are just as fun.
Wednesday will see me downloading Phantasy Star Zero MINI which I could never be unsatisfied with.

Did you download this using the DSI or does it have to come through a wii shop?

The DSi and my wireless router. No Wii needed.

Goodbye backwards compatibility, hello having to re-buy the games you already have. I'm sure if the Wii had been advanced enough there'd have been no GC compatibility and it'd have been emulated via VC.

No thanks. I'll stick with my DS tbh.

You don't HAVE to rebuy stuff. If you already have stuff, I'm sure you can play on other consoles.
The DS won't play GB/GBC games anyway.
