We?ve teamed up with Capcom and you guessed it, we?re bringing the one and only Street Fighter franchise as the first expansion table for the newly released PSN exclusive ZEN Pinball. As long time Street Fighter fans, we here at ZEN Studios are extremely excited about this collaboration and we can?t wait to get this table out the door to all our fans!

To give you a little idea of what makes this table so unique, we?ve loaded it with all the iconic Street Fighter II characters that revolutionized the fighting genre, from Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile to Sagat, Evil Ryu, Vega, Balrog and even M. Bison! The locations, missions, and even the tempo of the game capture the feel and look of the Street Fighter brand, so if you?re a fan of the franchise you?ll need to check this table out.

Right now we have a tentative release date scheduled for sometime in August 2009, so stay tuned to this blog, or check out the official ZEN Pinball site for more details.

While Hall of Fame is in the post I can now get on topic as I bought Zen Pinball (along with the additional Street Fighter II table).

Not a huge player of videogame pinball (apart from Devil Crash on the GT) but this has knocked my socks off. Seriously, I could sink hours at a time into it.

Fave original PSN game to date, by a long way. Very pleasant surpise indeed. My only concern is how Hall of Fame is going to compare when it arrives.

If you enjoy a bit of pinball then Zen Pinball is a total gem.

                  Wow, you're not wrong!

In comparison Zen feels like a videogame, Hall of Fame feels like pinball.

Love the authentic Williams tables too. Pinbot and Medieval Madness are totally awesome. And the whole presentation of the arcade really works. Should have its own first-play thread (I can only find one for the PS2 version).

I already have the excellent Gottlieb Collection on PSP but this PS3 Williams Collection knocks it completely out of the water in terms of presentation and tables.

I still really like Zen but I'll be playing HOF TWC so much more.

Videogame pinball was all but lost on me before I looked at this thread last week. Now I'm playing these games more than anything else. Proper pick up and play goodness with enough depth to last for years and years.

I'm tempted by the Williams collection, but does it still have all that unlocking and credits nonsense from the Gottlieb collection? I just want to have full access to all the tables, not have to mess around unlocking them and winning credits to play them.

glad to hear all this - my copy of the ps3 williams collection was posted last week, but due to all the flight disruption and living in NI, i'm still waiting on it - posted by royal mail 2nd class probably isnt helping...

I tried Zen again and i'm just not feeling it. Nice looking tables, but bland, bland gameplay.

Not 100% sure but I think that set up is still in place (played some challenges last night and up'ed my credits so it looks likely) but even so it won't take long to unlock them all ... and the tables are so much better than the Gottlieb tables.

Don't let this hold you back ... it's such a brilliant game.

One of the problems I have with the Zen games is the music. They just have a single, often quite dull, track playing over the game, and it doesn't react to what's going on. It seems like a small thing, but sound design is a really big part of the feel of a pinball table to me, and the music on the Zen ones gives them an oddly lifeless feel.

I'm really liking this. I've actually never played proper videogame pinball before, so this came as a pleasant surprise - I used to play quite a lot of proper pinball when I were a lad.
