Is this the only Zen Pinball thread? Should it be updated to include other versions?

Anyway... Zen Pinball for iOS. Gorgeous on iPad, is free and comes with Sorcerer's Lair table for free. Captain America and Wolverine tables are available to buy as DLC. On my iPad2, it is beautifully smooth, really clear and plays like a dream. Really lovely and I'm looking forward to discovering what these tables have to offer. I'll no doubt pick up every table they release.

Zen Pinball 3DS has been released today for €5 and comes with four tables - Excalibur, El Dorado and two others I can't quite remember. The 3D is pretty much perfect in the game and it does add something extra. The sense of depth when the ball goes into the background is excellent. But I find the small screen and low res of the 3DS screen to be problematic. I have to hold the screen really close to make it all out and it just all feels a bit too tiny. Plays well though. Doesn't quite feel as smooth as the iOS one on iPad but it still feels pretty smooth generally and having real buttons rather than touchscreen is great. But it's just so small. Not an easy one to play.

I imagine that there is a pinball fx thread as well as this one, and that is pretty much the exact same game as far as i can tell, just the 360 version.

I agree that this is great on iPad, it looks and plays great, it's certainly one of the best iOS pinball games. Pinball hd is my favourite at this very moment in time, but once they release more tables for this it might just have the edge over that game. Yeah getting loads of tables might work work out expensive, but a lot of them will be licensed ones so I don't mind really.

Just been having a quick go (on ipad2) and it's great. Looks and plays fantastic ... the tablet suits pinball very well. I can definitely see me buying the additional tables at some point.

I have been playing the 3DS version and for ?4.50 think its a bit of a bargain. Each table has online highscores for Country, Last week, Today, Friends and overall. Each table also has medals to collect, but it is the great online intergration that sold it to me.

382385051580 3ds friend code if anybody wants to compare scores on that version.

Playing the free table on the iOS version. However, I can't launch the ball with much force - is there a trick to it? Also, how do you nudge the table?

It seems pretty fun so far - only had one decent scoring run at 14million points. The table reminds me of Harry Potter

Right, started to figure out the table now - just a couple of things I don't understand now. Still don't know how to nudge the table properly either. Anyway, it seems you get mega points once you reach Midnight Madness, which is what you gain if you visit all the other minigames. On my 57million point run, I got 47million from Midnight Madness alone! The other things like the two multi-balls, don't seem worth it, and getting an extra ball is a pain in the arse.

Well i got the 3DS version and i gotta say its well worth 4.50, 4 tables that look great in 3D and play very well, i hope they bring out DLC for it and if it was say a quid a table id be all over it like a bad rash, just need more people on friends list to get it and get a few better scores for the pro score and a bit of competion, bring it

Just picked up the Star Wars pack, and can easily say this is the best 3 tables ive played in a while.
