The Beatles: Rock Band [PS3/360]

Regarding multiple microphones, I've recently found the two microphones that came with a Singstar game, both of them are aux connected into a USB box which I can plug into the 360.

The problem here though, is that even though they're connected (blue LED on the box lights up), they don't seem to be picked up at all, rather being told to 'plug in one to three USB microphones'.

Are these specific mics not supported, or is it an uncommon problem?

Yeah I've tried that and it doesnt work!

The singstar mic's simply do not work on the 360 for this so I ended up sourcing a cheap copy of Lips with it's own 2x mics and use them.

Got it. It's brilliant, especially the medley (but then you already knew that). The dreamscape during Sun King is gorgeous and perfectly captures the song.

they have included Her Majesty on the end. I put my guitar down and stopped singing after The End with a massive smile on my face, only to be surprised at Her Majesty starting up, having to grab the guitar and sing crookedly into the mic, which is exactly how it should be.

I love that McCartney is on his own in the studio and they added an extra note to the end of the song to make it sound more complete

It seems the PAL PS3 users have been shafted on this Abbey Road DLC, apparently not coming out until 29th October.
Did anyone order the game through HMV get their free DLC codes yet either? I applied at the start of the month through the redemption site and was told to expect the DLC codes emailed for the 20th. Nothing has come through yet.

I FINALLY got around to playing this over the weekend, it's my first Rock Band/Guitar Hero game and I have to say I'm blown away. It's an amazing game but so difficult! I'm at a point where I can five-star everything on easy and I've tried a few songs on Medium difficulty and although I can four or five-star some I fail abysmally on others.

Do these games get easier with practice on the harder modes? or does my lack of a sense of rhythm mean I should just stay in toddler mode?

Edit: Peripherals-wise I went for the Gretsch Duo and Rickenbacker Guitar. The later of which is my weapon of choice and a great piece of kit. Did anyone pick up the full band set? How are the Drums, Mic and Paul's Bass?

Anyone bought the DLC albums yet? Is there any advantage to getting them? I fancy four of five songs off Abbey Road and I'm guessing I can always make up the album by buying the remaining songs separately at a later date without missing out on anything?
