    Mini Ninjas

My £17.95 copy from Zavvi arrived today...

Loving this so far, played the first six levels (On Hard, it's easy so far - should be an easy 1000g for Achievements Lovers).

I love the artstyle and graphics - it's quite a lovely little game. Kids could button mash through this on the easier difficulties but on the harder difficulties the enemies are a little bit tougher and requires you to use different ways to take down larger groups.

The levels are quite large and different enemies and variations turn up all the time.

I think you will either love this or hate it. It's quite simplistic and won't set the world on fire but I find it very entertaining and fun. A very solid slick title.

Looking forward to giving it some more playtime.

I played a few levels last night and while the game isn't AMAZINGORZ!! it is thoroughly enjoyable. It is a nice, simple, inoofensive romp and is a perfect palette cleanser as we head into the blood and gore season.

I played this for an hour or so yesterday evening round my friends and to be fair, a review I stumbled upon says it better than I could:

It's an enjoyable romp and one that's worth looking into if you've got younger gamers or are looking for a game that will keep you entertained without teasing your frustration levels.
It is a quite a shame that there is no co-op option to speak of though considering you have four individual characters that you can switch to at any point during the experience.

You know, I am just pleased to play a reasonably polished game that doesn't challenge you to a frustrating degree. It is a superb package for young children.

When I played the demo I was a bit unsure; it wasn't a great demo as a number of things are not shown to you. However I am a fan of IOI and believe they know how to make good stuff so I jumped on the £17.95 zavvi deal.

I'm so glad that I did...

I've put a few hours into this now and I can honestly say it's charms totally won me over!

Totally agree with what others have said; it's simple, it's solid and it's charming.

Really getting into the stealth aspects and now sneak through the grass like...Well, like a Ninja, silently killing minions. I'm also mixing up the play by regularly switching characters as they really do have their strengths and weaknesses (I have 3 of the 5 extra ninja).

Managed to get the "Silent Assas...Ninja" Achievement before, and thoroughly enjoyed sneaking my way to the end of the mission.

Some levels look gorgeous too, I loved the

        Haunted Forest

        - really looked beautiful.

I now have a grin on my face when ever I see patrolling enemies...They remind me of Feudal Jawa's; especially when the levels are dark and their eyes stand out. I love their high pitched banter too, they really are speaking in high pitched Japanese and it makes me smile

The only down side is that this has come out at the completely the wrong time of year and unfortunately will get lost in the masses (much like other new IPs around Christmas time). If this had come out at a quiet time of year I think more people would be inclined to try it.

It really is a lovely little game and while I'm not saying rush out and buy it now for £40, once it drops a bit in price people should be snapping shops hands off to get their hands on it.

You should be, it's nothing mind blowing but it's very charming and very fun. Played it through recently and enjoyed it a lot. Can imagine if you've got little ones it'd be ideal.

              DS version?

I didn't rate the game on the DS tbh. I totally fell for the 360 demo, though, and will be picking that up soonish. £11.93 at TheHut.com btw.

Juuust 1000/1000d this. Can only really echo all the previous comments, it's a really solid game and offers a slight challenge while never being frustrating, which is just what I was after. There was only one bit that I got slightly annoyed at having to replay, and that was on the last level so it's expected that it'd get harder. It's a lot of fun, basically. Every enemy requiring a slightly different strategy to take out and a ton of awesome moves and companions with which to do it so every battle in the game can be different. Sneaking around feels great, too. Stealth gameplay without ever feeling clumsy or getting bogged down in it.

It looks brilliant, though. The reflections in the water when you're rafting are just amaze, and the cherry blossom everywhere, and the lighting, and every level almost having a different palette.
