God of War 3 - Demo [PS3]

I played this the other day. Its good fun, and should be right up your street if you have played the originals as its pretty much just a high res version of them. I'm, still not keen on the "press button X" at a certain time though :P

A friend of mine got a code, and let me download it from him. If you loved the first two games then this is more of the same. Cant wait to see what epic boss battles will pop up. Im betting one of them will be Hercules (as well as all the gods and the odd screen size monster of course)

Tried this out last night. The main disclaimer is that with it being the E3 demo the final game will have had a lot more work put into it. On a face value basis though its... alright. It visually needs a huge amount of work done on it as it essentially is animated and designed the same as the PS2 games with a lot of 2D backgrounds (which are likely placeholders) and basic effects.

My main concern is a weird unnameable one. I'm currently playing through the PSP GOW before the collection arrives which is a great little version in itself and weirdly its GOW3 where something feels 'off'. It's like a different inferior studio is trying to make it. The demo ends brilliantly but the lead up is a bit meh.

Wholeheartedly disagree. I thought it was sticking to its roots, but it was great fun and had an epic feel which few games match. For me the biggest issue is the stuttering framerate, I just hope its silky smooth upon final realse.

Also I prefer GoW PSP dodge controls and I hope they can be used in the same manner in the final release. Brilliant Demo overall though, GoW fans will lap this up!

Has anyone had a problem with their code not working?

I ask because I sold my code (sorry, needed the money) and the guy is saying it doesn't work. I suspect he is trying it on btu just wondered if anyone is having a problem with the codes?

Anyways, I haven't played through the whole demo yet, but what I did play - wow looks great - cannot wait for the final version.

One thing was - it was only 720p.....assume the final retail will be 1080p?
