I only just played through this recently and thought it was great, it even got me to read a book for the first time in ages. Yeah its not a AAA title, but it wasnt as bad as some reviews made out.

Same here. I only got around to playing it a few weeks ago and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The combat may be a little bland and unimaginative but I thought most of the environments, especially for the first half of the game, were fantastic. It did let itself down a bit in the last part when
, but on the whole it was a pleasure to play.
Sometimes all you want from a game is a linear path from point A to B with some crap to kill in-between.Comment

no, it's not great - lots of polish is simply lacking, especially in the audio-visual department. the combat is very enjoyable though and i think it's great value at the bargain prices currently asked for.Comment
