Looking forward to Celebi, but I already have Raikou, Entei & Suicune (transferred down from Colosseum, then through GBA games, onto DS). Annoyed me how easy they were to get in Colosseum after spending hours and hours getting them in Gold.

Even though you still have them I think it's only the shiny ones that unlock something when you transfer them over to Black/White, so best to grab them again. Plus it gives you the rare opportunity to own two of the same legendaries meaning you can trade one for another you don't have.Originally posted by Damien View PostComment

I jumped on and got Raikou(sp?) in my Pokemon Platinum. How come he doesn't show up in my Pokedex?
I only have one gym badge..
I should be able to blast through the game this month before Black/White is released - what with my lv100 Arceus that I got from an event ;-)Comment

When you start most of the games, you have what's known as a 'regional pok?dex' - it's a cut down version of the full one, and contains most of the pok?mon that are available in your game. At some point later on (the exact criteria varies from game to game), you get the national pok?dex which lists all of them.Originally posted by InvisibleKid View PostComment

For a Pokemon where you're not the original trainer (i.e. a traded or event one), you can initially only control them up to level 10. 2 badges lets you control them up to level 30, 4 up to 50 and so on for every second badge. Actually, this is probably a good thing - I continued playing again on the way to work and I'm having a blast :-)

I hope everyone is remembering to pick up their Shiny Entei today. I have done three so far (I have 2 copies of HG as I was using an Editor with one, having the NDS Adaptor Plus which was the only way to back up a save, for people who wanted Pokemon created to their specification and I didn't want that spilling over into a normal game).
That just leaves Diamond, Pearl and Platinum to collect it in. Strangely in one of the earlier games I could not pick the Pokemon up from a Department Store (I was only in a town with that in one of the three) and had to go back to a normal Pokemart to collect it.
Had a few restarts on my last Heartgold to get some better stats. The HP was not brilliant but the other stats were better! Should have been more observant on the first two!Comment
