Your Lammy seems a bit, limited, compared to my mate's. He's been playing (Nu, then Lamb) since CT's US release though so er, don't be offended! Dealing with his 80+ hit combos has given me quite a lot of experience against Lamb so you might be at a disadvantage if we play - but I'm sure it'd still be fun! Maybe try out someone like Jin, Noel or Ragna?

Or Tager, if you want to crush my soul. :'(

I've gone from Ragna, to Lambda, to Hakumen. Hakumen is a nice character, very strong but requires you to analyse your opponent more than other characters - much like you have to do in Third Strike. I still like to mess around with other characters mind, such a Jin who has some cool links up his sleeve.

    Hype for BBCS2 also.

Wow, incredibly cocky stuff there - you haven't even played him yet!

By the way congrats on level 50 briareos! I stopped playing online after I got there due to burnout suffered in the process, just need to go back and get the 100 challenges cleared but I was waiting for Platinum DLC before attempting that and it seems it will never come.

Absolutely no offense, I know I'm not that good. I do realize that I have loops that are easily exploitable and fall in a lot of errors (always jumping away, overreliance on 236C and the standard D-D-4D-4D-214D combo, trying to follow up a throw with a 2D among the others) but BB is the first beat'em'up I have played for a serious amount of time...and with serious I mean more than two weeks :P

I was trying to sub Mu once but I ended up in using Haku-men more than her; it's hard to define Haku as my sub, but it's the nearest thing I have to one. Jin and Ragna are a big no-no, I don't like the characters.
I was subbing Noel in CT...I think I might be partial to Saya clones.

I'm set to go for Platinum once she's released, hoping that playing with her on the PSP/3DS first won't screw up muscle memory for home consoles.

I stopped for a while before reaching level 50, around 41...incredibly enough those 9 levels weren't that long. Getting to level 51 and after that, 52, was much longer!
After reaching level 50 I did feel a bit "tired", but things have picked up steam once again. That said, I'm slowly giving BBCS less time to play other games...still have some 360 shoothers left sealed.

Yeah that's cool. I almost exclusively play fighting games so I punish stuff like those loops as much as possible. If you use that D overhead for example, Hakumen can D counter that so it's best to not be too reliant on it. Fantastic move though, especially as you can cancel it if you hit C directly after inputting 214D. Like, (in air) 2D, 2D, 214D, C, 2D, 2D, 214D. I have a problem with inputs, as well as wasting my bursts and jumping in too much - I need to stop being so impatient - especially with a character like Hakumen.

I watch a lot of BlazBlue London event match vids so I've got a pretty decent idea of the game.

Probably the 3rd fighter I am most familiar with, after SSFIV and 3s.

If you're on later I'll give ya a few games - was gonna add you last night but the net cut out.

Haha, the same friend who mains Lamb has the exact same idea - main Platinum. I'm just gonna try sticking it out with Hakumen, I play quite lazily so haven't really learned any combos as such

That's one thing I should use more...I cut my air combos real short unfortunately, probably because I feel safer when the enemy is on the ground away from me.
The opposite with Haku-men, he's safe when the enemy's near because his sword has a very high priority. Plus his 6B is just too good too see; probably it's one of the safest overheads in the game, the passive hitbox is only on his rear leg.

That'd be my old username! Use my JP account exclusively now: DTL-H30001.

I'll probably be on around 8 or 9pm earliest.

And yeah about 6B. I beat my friend's Jin (he's insaneee ;() just by using 6B and 3C because he wasn't able to dashback or predict properly which I was going to go for..

He beat me silly the next 2 rounds though lol.

LOL, really? I did some very stupid mistakes (as usual) but you helped me correct some Though, burstin through a Yukikaze is a trick I have to remember.

BTW, yep, ggs. With Bang I didn't really knew what to do: I was throwing bumpers around trying to remember how to throw shurikens :P
Hazama...well, I also jumped right into your drive with my own.
BTW, against Tager yours were the mistakes all Nu/Lambda players do, use D when Tager can blow through everything.
It was Valkenhayn alone who won the match against Jin, however: his kicks and drive are insane.

                  [edit]
Two things that you did wrong:
                  1) you never chose random BGMs, you can end up with songs. Like Bang's. No. No. No. No.
                  2) you let the intro run if Lambda's turned the other way around. Or when Makoto throws her cape. Or when Tao goes face-first toward the monitor. Or Litchi...well, doing anything.

Yeah, I dunno why I kept choosing Lamb against Tager - I tend to have an okay time against him with Hakumen now.

Bursting my Yukikaze was really cool, although I would liked to have won the round instead.

Continuum Shift II available now on the Japanese PSN (for PSP). I was very surprised by that, I saw it when I was looking for KZ3 dlc. Platinum looks very unlikely for PS3 now. I know this really belongs in the headlines thread but new forum doesn't let me search

If the BBCSII artwork wouldn't have been delayed I would already have bith 3DS and PSP versions at home right now...oh well, at least I'll save in shipping costs.
Unfortunately what home consoles users can do is only wait and pray that ArcSys won't release BBCS2 as a full retail game.

Went back online after a month-long pause...not bad, though I lost part of my muscle memory.
When I was recording the videos my tripod collapsed...the tripod was old but to have a leg completely fail was an unpleasant surprise. Luckily enough I saved the camera from being damaged in any way, though the recorded videos had to be straightened in After Affects as I hand't any replacement...gotta buy a new tripod now.

Old match I forgot I had. A surprise awaits the unsuspecting viewer before the final round.

And other old match, this time the surprise is the Bang player using beginner mode; Bang Litchi and Makoto are the more common beginners, with Tager tailing them. Worst thing is it's always level 40+ players using beginner mode with their main.

                          New matches.
