This is an action tower defence game, so instead of just running around trying to place units in time, you also have to join in with the shooting, twin-stick move/shoot style.
The concept is brilliant for me - I find most tower defence games far too easy - where's the fun in winning first time on most of the levels? Anyway, this is much harder, with you having build walls to funnel the attacking lizards past turrets and slow their attack of your base, while you run around and shoot them too.
Shooting the enemies gives you $ to build.
Then night arrives and you need $ for flares so that a) you can see the enemies and b) the turrets know what to shoot at.
It's immediately far more frantic and exciting than the td games I have tried and all the better for it. Placing the walls in good patterns is a devious task and far more brain bending than normal. The lizards attack with the speed of Aliens.
This is 80 points and well worth it for td fans who want a bit more thrill.
