    Drop7 [Android/Iphone]

After hearing another person tell me that Drop7 is one of the most addictive games you can get on a smartphone since Snake i had to give it a go.

The game costs $3 on Android about £2 (not sure what it is on Iphone).

The idea for the game had been likened to Tetris meets Sudoku. You have to drop numbered disks down a grid to create chains, the number shows how many disks you need to have in that row or column to be eliminated, however to kae things harder you also get disks with no number on, these need to be broken to release the number, they are broken by making combos through them. Each level has a certain number of drops before you level up pushing the disks up one level, if a disk goes over the top its game over.

    The game has 3 modes

    Normal
    Hardcore
    Sequence

The idea for the game is so simple but it is so fun to play i have already lost a few hours to this one.

The controls are good touch the column you want to drop the disk in is as complex as it gets.

The game has a simple graphical style the suits the game well as well as a resonable soundtrack of some bouncy beats.

A must buy for anybody wanting to kill 5 minutes on a train or spend 3 hours beating your high scores.

    Drop7 love!!

Ive bought lots of games on the Iphone, but I ALWAYS come back to this.

Were there to be a poll for this, it would be a straight 10 for me, because its perfect for what it is. You can drop in and out of it at will, and that the format is perfectly suited to it. Forget the other two modes, Hardcore is the only one anyone is interested in, and its the mode Ive played religiously ever since the game came out (seems like a LONG time ago now).

Some say its broken, I dont think it is - sure you get a lot of games which are seemingly doomed from the start, but as you learn the game you realise how to minimise the effects bad numbers can bring by planning ahead.

A while back, I got 838,169 on this and was in the world top 30, Ive since been pushed down but am determined to get back in there

For me, easily the best game on the Iphone, at £1.50 or something it represents incredible value for money particularly in my case, I couldnt guess how much time Ive spent on this little game but am still as addicted as ever.

I've had this for nearly a year on iPhone and its one of the few games I repeatedly come back to... that is a huge compliment when the majority of stuff hasnt come anywhere near holding my interest for such a length of time.

        Superb game.

I play this daily on my commute.

Easily the best game on the iPhone.

My scores are averaging out at about 300k (Hardcore mode) but some of the top scores are messed up.

My only slight criticism is that it leaves more to luck than Tetris, Tetris being the Holy God Mother of all puzzle games.

Probably a boring story but I just had to tell someone about an game I had earlier.

I managed to clear the screen from the start and I got the 70K bonus. It then followed that by giving me a 1, so another clear screen, and anoher 70K bonus. Incredibly, it gave me yet another 1, so by the time the first row had built up I already had 245K. Typically, from there on it was rotten, I ended up with a rubbish 495K :/
