    Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions [PS3, 360]

Amazed no-one picked this up. Done 1 level per character which represents 1/3 of the game so I guess it's around 6-7hrs in length. Closest game I can think of to this would be Wolverine with a similar level design and unlock system to that. Visually it's nice enough. Sound wise it's standard fare though the voice artists/writing vary from the kids cartoon to the annoying. I'd say the 2099 sections make the least impact due to the weakness of the source material.

Noir is the most distinct though the stealth is a 1 button affair. Ultimate is the most likeable Spiderman though levels are no different than what Amazing offers. Overall it's simple brawler fun though more focus on design rather than using weaker spin-offs for variety might have been better for it.

i picked it up too. was the last copy in my local gamestation too so it may be popular? or very unpopular?

only done the tutorial and the first level so far. pretty good fun although the camera is pretty crappy imo seems to focus too closely on spidey and not zoom out enough.

dunno if its just me but the swinging I am finding a little fiddly, am holding R when I want to tap and vice versa (i got the cheev for 10 recovery jumps in about 2 minutes ) but I think it just needs practise.

All in all a fairly positive start....will be spending most of sunday on it.

Finished this yesterday so it's definately a short runner. By the last few levels it becomes a real smash em up as it throws hundreds of enemies at you but just before that there are some great set pieces and boss battles to be had. Essentially, treat it as Wolverine 2 and you can guess your own score

Yeah, I'm really enjoying this too. nearly cleared Act 2. Just as well considering Reach just landed.

        Top stuff really,
        level was excellent!!

Enjoying this quite a lot, should keep me busy until something more substantial comes along. Did anyone else have the problem on the second 2099 level where the framerate just drops to unplayable levels? Happened twice to me, had to restart both times, was like watching a slideshow. Just finishing up on act 2, didn't enjoy

          deadpools

level much, very, very samey, do this, then the same again, boss fight, and same thing again, and one last time, decent boss fight, end.

Was In stitches when he "took a break" and did the doctor strange "advert" though, still smiling just thinking about it.

Managed to finish this off at the weekend in about 2 sittings, thoroughly enjoyed it, but then I'm a Spidey fan so I knew I'd like it.

The story is a load of old 60's Marvel bollocks, but I really enjoyed the pun-tastic script and voice acting, especially the narrator's.

Just picked this up this week to play. I have been meaning to play this for a while.

Wasnt to sure about it at first but then got into it. I really like Noir at first as it reminded me of Batman AA but then it just turns into a button bash affair which was a little disappointing.

A decent game all the same, hopefully will finish it tonight just 3 levels left.

I do like how the upgrade system works though, thats a nice touch.

Having only just picked this up on the cheap, it really is brilliant fan service so far - the scripting and Spidey's quips have been really funny and hearing the guy from Spiderman and his Amazing Friends voice the 2099 version is just brilliant.
