I had no idea that this game was a Nintendo game otherwise i would have tried it sooner.
It is a DSiware release that costs only 200 points.
Aura Aura Climber is most closely a platform game but with a twist, everything takes place in the air. The idea is to advance up the screen as far as the goal, attaching to grapple points. The game starts very simple, but soon adds in numbered gates that you need to grapple in order to advance, electro fields that you have to time your grapple round and birds that attack. The game also has power ups to help you along your way, these include bombs that give you a boost, bonus bells that can give you a range of bonuses, extra health and invincability.
Along the way collecting gems boosts your score as well as how quickly you get to the goal.
Each level ranks your score and saves your top 3, score enough to advance. While the game sounds simple its extremely well done with the usual Nintendo flair and presentation. This could quite easily have had a 500 price tag due to the content and the time that has gone into it.
The game also has an endless mode that has you hunting for extra time along the way also.
If you are a fan of the usual Nintendo platform games you are sure
to love this and for 200 points it is a bargain.
