    Finished now, got the

Good Katherine ending. Really satisfying ending, Loved the bartender as the main villain and it's amusing at the end discovering why everyone reacts weirdly to Erika.

For a side project it's a great game, thought I'd hate the puzzle stuff when the game was first revealed but it was fun and challenging throughout. I do think the difficulties were shifted one to the right though, easy felt like normal, normal felt like hard.

I'm on the last boss on normal. Fuxking thing out here, doing my head in. No time to think at all, a ridiculous move that removes all the blocks beneath you... I thought the boss beforehand was bad enough. How irritating.

I only did it on easy so I can't really help too much. It actually gets much easier as it goes on, I found it forces you to do 3-2-1 pyramids a lot early on, sometimes you need to climb up a bit and pull out a couple of blocks. May be faster ways of doing it mind.

I also found that sometimes when you undo, it can sometimes make it do an easy curse rather than the supermove.

I'm currently on boss 4. Finding it quite tough but really compulsive, one more try stuff.

It's incredibly compulsive, it's just a shame that I found normal way to frustrating

Normal hasn't been too bad up until the final boss! Only stage 6 really ramped up the difficulty for me, after that I've mostly flown through... Some irritating bits though, but the duels moments are worth it !!

The hardest thing on Normal was that undos give the boss a huge boost, heard that there are far fewer powerups though. In easy you have a "remove enemies" book for pretty much every enemy you come across.

Except for the ants. God damn the ants are annoying, easily the hardest of all the enemies (thankfully they only turn up on one stage).

I started playing the 360 version last night and will be picking it up from the fourth night. So far it's fairly enjoyable, the puzzle sections are mostly well done with only a couple of control niggles ruining the experience. It's a hard story for me to get into just because so far I can't relate or sympathise with Vincent at all, Catherine is a bit too much of a ditz and Katherine is epically bland. Because I don't care about them I don't care what the outcome is. Visually it feels well designed with a strong art style to it but its very much an ?8 PSN dressed in big release clothing. So, so, so glad I didn't pay anywhere near full price for it.

I'm hovering around Night 7 now and despite being late on in the game if I don't finish it I think I'll sell it on tomorrow. It's so keen to introduce new blocks it doesn't feel like it does anything smart with them and the puzzles are starting to feel a bit of a mess. The storyline is starting to feel a bit of a chore too. It's not a bad game per se but a likely contender for most overrated game of 2011.

When I first read about this game, I imagined it'd be something I'd want to play again and again, however some of the puzzle mechanics turned fun into frustration fairly quickly. Not having 360 camera control for instance, so when Vincent disappears round the back you can't just rotate, plus the way the input direction changes from block to block when you're out of view. I died so many times just trying to find him. Ended up playing it on easy. Also I wasn't a fan of the dub, so the story was less involving.

The puzzling is simply not tight and intuitive enough, for my liking. The developer must be lacking in confidence in their system as they kept doling out tutorials throughout the game. Controls reversing, inconsistent and illogical block behaviour (the fact that it was a 'dream' doesn't excuse this much), ltd. camera so you couldn't see crucial connections behind the blocks, coupled with insta-death traps/bosses, just sapped the fun out of it for me. I would've preferred is as a straight-up anime without the fuss of having to play. The main plus point from this, for me, is the hope that Atlus can bring the same brilliant characterization/animation/cinematics to the next Persona.

Played this last year and the last few comments sum up why I couldn't stand the game, I think if they'd mixed things up a bit in the Dream sequences with a few different game genres it would have been far more enjoyable, I just found the puzzles far too repetitive.

I loved it! Can understand the negativity though, I just forgave its faults because it felt so fresh.

I somehow managed to miss this until now, just finished it tonight. Wow. I absolutely loved it. It's one of those games where I look at the clock and realise that 2 hours has passed since I last looked, when it feels like 10 minutes. Brilliant.
