    NIN2-JUMP (360 Arcade)

NIN2-JUMP from Cave is a platform game, in which you play a ninja. You have to collect all the scrolls in a level and then escape through an exit that appears. You're ranked on how long it takes, and there's leaderboards for each set of ten levels to work your way up.

It only costs 400MSP and all proceeds from the game are going to the Japanese Red Cross, so just buy it, would you?

NIN2-JUMP is also great. I'm already totally addicted to getting inch-perfect runs through levels. I'm third on the leaderboard for the first set of levels, but 30 seconds behind the guy in first. I've already S-Ranked everything so no idea where he found that time! The presentation is wonderful though, there's little silhouettes of children watching your puppet show, and every time you're in danger they gasp and shout to warn you and stuff, like a pantomime but cuter.

I shut the little ****ers up after about 3 levels.

I paid my 400MSP straight off the bat as well but honestly, had this not been going to charidy and had I tried it first, I might well have passed, despite being a Cave fanboy.

I like the art direction (if you ignore the low resolution and cheap looking menus) but the gameplay seems wholly derivative and the physics of the grapple thing just awful. It's all too obvious it's Cave's first attempt at this kind of thing and there are schoolboy errors. It just doesn't feel right, more like a free flash game than anything else. In fact I'm pretty sure that bald bloke from The Gatget Show will like this.

Replay value seems like a shallow time attack affair and there are far better examples of this type of game on XBLA.

    Must try harder.

I overlooked Score Attack, which appears to have a lot more depth (made by DS chief programmer) but I can't overcome the wonky physics and amateurish feel to the game enough to enjoy it unfortunately.

Its not great is it. worth the 400 points but after trying the demo I won't personally buy it.

I wanted to love it because the design is really good but I found the enemies really frustrating to get around.

Literally only heard about this game today and after trying the demo I am hooked and will be buying the full game soon. Initially from the name I thought it was another N+ romp but it's so much better imo. Cutesy visuals and addictive from the get go!

Finally bought this last night due to the passing of Umemoto.

When it first came out the demo stopped me buying it but I'm quite enjoying the full game.
A few niggles with the pickup radius for the scrolls but guiding and dodging the ?demon in adventure mode and the frenzy of score attack make it entertaining.
