    Top Spin 4

After um'ing and ah'ing over whether to get this or Virtua Tennis 4, I saw Top Spin 4 sitting on a shelf in Asda a tenner cheaper, so I picked it up.

So far, I'm enjoying it. The core mechanics are nice. Not too far way from VT's, but a little deeper.

The presentation is a bit of a let down to be honest. It's just okay. The daytime grass court I've played on so far, looks like it's being played at dusk. The grass not looking green, but yellowy-orange. Maybe this will change. Also, the Shanghai tourny court was like playing on the death star. Hard to make out shadows, which was a bit off-putting.

I dunno if tennis games are expected to have commentary, but for me, the lack of any took away a bit of the atmosphere and just seemed strange.

Above all though, it's a good tennis game. Great to play a friend against (on sofa - PSN down).

Would be interested to hear views from others with this and how they think it shapes up against VT4.

After reading a couple of reviews, it seems you made the better choice. Which version did you go for? Wondering how the Move implementation works.

PS3, but I'm not even going to try it. I believe in using an old skool controller Apparently, the Move controls are pretty limited i.e Like Wii Tennis, your movement is controlled by the CPU, and the Move control scheme, is limited to Exhibition matches only! Really?
