I wasn't expecting to be too keen on this because (forgive the pretentious phrase) it seemed like Double Fine had sold out and dropped their usual quirkiness for something more marketable. Maybe that's true, but the game is tons of fun. It takes the most enjoyable parts of Brutal Legend's RTS sections and builds on them. Playing the game gives you that pseudo-productive satisfying feeling thanks to the fact that you're constantly picking up scrap from the enemies you destroy in order to upgrade weapons.

First game I've bought and enjoyed in ages. Glad to be back!

The game is available in Switzerland, so I just created a Swiss account and added points. You can redeem UK points cards on a Swiss account so you don't even need to add card details.

The game itself is brilliant combining mech action, tower defense and loot RPG. There are a lot of weapons and mech customisations available which include an RPG style colour grading system, with the more expensive weapons featuring different additional abilities.

Thats more like it, never knew of swiss account , was more thinking of USA account and add points and purchase from there, it's all good.

I had no idea since I have a US account. I don't trust telling companies that I live in the UK for when precisely this sort of thing comes along.

Double Fine must be jinxed... maybe it will be like Psychonauts and there'll be a 50hz version in February? (Kidding!)

It's delayed because someone already has the trademark on that name for a videogame in Europe. Someone didn't do a proper trademark search before choosing their name...

...Apparently it's being renamed to "IRON BRIGADE" (great name) and will appear in September! Nice going.
