Everybodys Rhythm Heaven (Aka Minna no Rhythm Tengoku) Wii

Well this turned up today, put a few hours in so far & it's lovely. In the current stakes of things im ranking it above the DS version but all of them are great, the stages this time around are pretty funny it has gotten quite a few laughs out of me so far, im loving the updated graphics & the music sounds fantastic now that it's on a home console & not playing compressed audio through tinny low quality GBA & DS speakers.

First up the essentials, it controls very solid & super accurate. You either use the A button or both the A&B button together, thats it, no waving the remote to control anything. Secondly i was slightly worried about this running on a HD tv due to the lag but i didnt have to worry as the timing is perfect, not even sure if you get lag on a wii but thought i'd mention it as it affects music games when playing on 360.

Same setup as before, 4 stages then a remix. The medals are still in for geting a high level rank & the P perfect campaign challenge is still in. You can unlock rhythm toys & the endless games as you play & win medals. The 2 player levels are on a different screen & they are blanked out exept the first one so im guessing as you beat them the next unlocks.

Oh theres a new feature added too in the main game, when you start a stage & it teaches you how to play. Well on top of learning the way the stage works you can now press the 1 button on the remote & the screen zooms out a bit & the computer takes over so you can see the timing of how your meant to be controlling it. It's a really handy feature on some of the trickier stages.

This game has to have the smallest Nintendo manual ever it's literally nearly leaflet territory weighing in at a whopping 5 pages

Well thats it so far, really enjoying the new entry to the series & they didnt manage to screw anything up HURRAH

I'm finding this really hard in parts - much harder than the other two games. It's almost like, to try and compensate for only having two buttons after the DS version, they've ramped things up a bit.

Monkey Clock and Remix 2 are kicking my arse big style

That said it's still the usual Rhythm Tengoku genius - office pigs on swivel chairs? Tambourine tapping monkeys? Brilliant stuff.

I must admit the remixes are a lot harder than i remember the ds versions been but im guessing it's been a while since i practised. Managed to finish remix 4 which was rather hard due to the fast changes between the stages. Hehe monkey clock is ace, especially when it zooms out at the end. Who would have thought that they could squeeze that many monkeys into a wristwatch lol.

Hehe badminton well thats my guess.

Currently remix 6 is kicking my ass, getting so close but parts are still way off. Need to practise more but loving every moment. I really like the retro style fonts at the start of each stage it reminds me of the fonts Nintendo used to use on their toys of yesteryear, it really suits the wii despite what people may think. If it keeps this quality up i can see it beating the gba version for me.

I started this up last night and had a very quick go. It was the Golf level and it went something like this:

Hitting the monkey's throw: "Phff, this looks crap"
Hitting the repeated throws: "Am I missing something here?"
Hitting the babboon's throws: "Eh? This is going to be one of those rubbish J-Games"
Hitting the alternating throws: "... okay..."
Hitting the alternative throws with music: "I love it!!"

Got my US Copy yesterday! I want to have it rest on my pillow when I sleep. Is that normal?

If I had one complaint it would that I would request a restart button/option.
