Ok this is a java game which you can play through either facebook or your web browser, which you can sign in with your PSN id if you have a PS3. The game is very like a huge global game of risk crossed with the resource management of C&C, which you also build structures like C&C which lets you build your forces. There's 9 basic types of structures to build all which can be upgraded, (im playing Chimera) so here is there structures, conversion centre (builds hybrids), scanner spire (gives skirmish bonus data),crafter locus (faster build speed),spire missile factory(builds spire missiles),bunker buster(builds bunker buster missiles),shield generator (build shields),hive(increases hybrid deployments),neurol cluster(increase your CP, command points (you need theses to issues orders)biomass collector(collects biomass(you need biomass to attack), all theses are unlocked at different levels. so you build your bases like C&C and you see you base with all your structures, you can then switch to the global regional map which shows which side owns which territory, you can select a territory and deploy either hybrids or shields or busters, or there missions in each territory which give you stuff like XP to level up or more hybrids or spires, all have different times to complete the missions ranging from 20 to 30 minutes near your territory to hours up to 10 for the enemy territory, you can all skirmish against other enemy commmanders.
The graphics and animations on the global screen are really good and add to the atmosphere of the game.
