The less you know the better so don't go reading up on it first.

If on PC you need the HL2 SDK which will download automatically in Steam if you don't already have it. To install download the file above and plonk the folder in steam/steamapps/sourcemods

Errr yeah, just got round to playing this
The less I knew the better indeed, is a very interesting premise and I have not yet seen it all.

Heard today that the game is getting a HD Remix update/full retail release, this caused me to install the game and give it a go.
Creepy trailer here, don't watch unless you have played as said the less you know the better-er.

The remake is now out and available on Steam for ?8, I'm grabbing it now.

I won't spoil the demo, but the demo doesn't spoil the main game.



It's one of the best mods ever released so can't wait to try the new one

Is it still worth buying if you have played the original mod?

Steam says i put in four hours yesterday - in my opinion, yes! While several of the endings are the same or slightly reworked, there are also a few new ones and many hidden jokes.

However the core game is exactly the same, so i suppose it comes down go how much of the original you remember. This is the best version, without a doubt.

I do remember a bit of it, I played it just after they announced this HD version, I remember I stopped playing once I heard the dev say it was a proper remake with new content/dialogue.

I'll no doubt grab it very soon.
