Not sure if I should post this here or in the Batman: AA thread but...
Having been ill in bed I played through the original on hard over the last couple of days. While I missed a couple of the more refined flying controls, especially continuous flight, the story and atmosphere of the first game is far better than the sequal.
It must be the more open setting but the first one had a brilliant balance of controlled story telling with just the right amount of extra exploration. It would have benefitted from a little more backtracking to different areas in the third act so you could pick up more Riddler trophies before the finale but despite this this first is a better game. Too many distractions at any one time in AC.
One thing that is a lot easier is the Riddler trophy marks in AC. Much easier to find trophies when they are static and not buzzing around the map!
