    Payday the heist pc/ps3

got this only tried 2 levels and it definetly feels like left 4 dead just obviously a different setting graphics are pretty good

is a upgrade system so you gain better equipment but i can feel this getting old very quickly as the levels i have tried there is only one way to complete them though i guess as a part of a team once you know the level then can be more effiecent at beating them

the police assaults are done a bit like in left 4 dead i think its depending on how well your doing the AI will send in varying waves of enemies

not sure what to make of it i mean it is good fun but i was hoping for a bit more of a heist feeling and intereaction rather then left 4 dead in a different setting

I picked up a 4 pack during the Steam sale and I'm pleasantly surprised by this game.

It very much plays on bank heist movies, one level is even called Heat Street and it really does feel like you're in the movie, one thing I really love about the game is the chat between each character, there's a single action button that is used to command hostages, open doors, pickup loot, and setup drills etc, but it's also used to communicate to your team members, the variation in script is really very cool.

The game play is very tight for a FPS, I love how the guns feel, it definitely comes down to your own skill and momentum to make it through each level. the pace of levels is good too, you really have to work together to get through the eaves of police ambushes, police spawn indefinitely from SQUAT fans, but if you reach a van then the spawn is disabled, so the game forces you to push forward instead of sitting and camping, its a mechanic that works well, not to mention that you'll need their ammo!

If anyone has this be sure to send me an invite I'm up for playing, I also have a gift left over.

I bought this pretty much as soon as it was released on PSN. It's recently received an update as well as DLC, which has vastly improved it. There are different ways to complete stages, as different paths are open each time you play, so there is a degree of randomness to the game. It's a highly underrated title IMO. The enemy AI is very good, even on the lower difficulties. You really need to work together to complete the stages too. I prefer it to BF3 at times, that's how good it is.
