I've had mine set to Home Cinema since I had it, but I've been meaning to try out War Tapes. Perhaps I wont if there is no sub involvement.

Wooo, just managed MVP2 for the first time - and actually earnt it!!

Have been desperately trying to get my M5K, and was SO close today with there being 5 of us in the GM match for the whole thing until someone randomly joined and I ended up 6th and missing it YET AGAIN. That f-ing magnum is the bane of my existence. I cannot hit a thing with it.

LOL I was watching you playing GM last night. The M5K kinda sucks anyway TBH. You need a Kobra and extended mag to make it functional. Never L1 any handgun, especially not in GM.

The magnum is awesome when you get used to it, you only have to hit twice at most, so take your time and aim for the upper chest. Its main power is in being able to easily floor two guys as a pistol in a short space of time without having to reload. If your accuracy is poor, use the full auto pistol and go for single kills.

Also if you're aiming for high k/d with submachine guns, try the p90 on a sniper with the proxy sensor (TUGS) to tell you where the enemies are, it gives you a major advantage when rushing or defending a point.

GM doesn't work like that. You cannot pick weapons, rather you have to use a set bunch of them throughout the match.

What server are you chaps using?

It didn't take long before the Close Quarters matches went a bit silly. Instead of snipers, players now just arm themselves with rocket/grenade launcher-type weapons and bomb the live **** out of each level they play.

I usually play 500% ticket servers, mainly in Grand Bazaar. Kryss usually joins in with me and we go from there.

If you are PS3 you could possibly join our NTSC squad. So far it is MisterBubbles, and myself. Kryss is in a different time zone to us, so he may not be 100% in.

Dude, how were you watching me?? And yeah, aiming with the magnum was a bad idea. I am terrible with that gun, I always get stuck there while everyone overtakes me in kills.
I did have a couple of really good rounds on Tehran Highway Conquest, sniping with my M98B (my rifle of choice). I'm actually quite pleased that I've improved so much all round - at least 1 SS on all kits except Recon right now, and my SPM is up to 340ish. I'm loving the P90 with kobra RDS and laser sight. I'm not too far off getting all the CQ weapons, which I can hopefully do before the next DLC drops in August...

Looking forward to playing some rounds with you. The servers I had in my favourites have now dropped, so I'm on the prowl for some other good ones. I've been playing DiRT3 for a while, so am gagging to get back to shooting some people.

Ahh I see now. I only played that game type for a few minutes before getting called into another game. I quite like that game type, but my mates don't get along with it.

It's a weird type. It's team based, but you are playing against your own team members as well....

I can't find any official details on what the differences actually are. It sounds different, although hard to tell if better.
