I didn't bring my PS3 with me to Japan so I haven't had a chance to play 3rdHD sadly. I have it for PSP but now with TriG out, Portable 3rd is pretty redundant. I'm on 30 hours on Tri G now and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what's on offer.

Oddly I just couldn't sit and play on my week off, so I'll be making up for that in my free time this week.
3rdHD is probably the best so far, although Tri had a much better online system with Adhoc party being just a pain in the behind. Still never figured out why Capcom took away the 10 person lobbies for the English release though.Comment

Ok, 61h something and I just repelled Nabarudeus for the first time, in a decent time of 28m something using full Los armour and the Insector Kai twin blades (the only weapons you get with Dragon element). Kayanba isn't in the "End" video, Capcom literally lifted the one from the end of MHTri and stuck a little 3D in. Lazy sods. Kayanba is the second Kimenzoku you rescue on the island and he joins you on quests as well. Like how you could take two Otomo-Aryll on MHP3rd.
Wait...Village quests go up to 9 star now!? So you don't even have to travel to the bay and go to the Guild there. Well you still will, and the event quests are only accessible there. We're getting about 2 new event quests every week right now, with nothing in the way of Challenge quests as of yet.
Still so much more to hunt!Comment
