Time to put my AWP skills to the test.

AWP skills were put to the test but when you take out the soldiers next to tank without them seeing you, another will spawn feet away from you with a rocket launcher. Cheap Kojima, very cheap.

I ended up brute forcing my way through the tank battle. That Russian bloke has escaped again (third time) so I need to capture him. The Metal Gear just needs a head unit!

Going through and finding all the weapon upgrades in Extra Ops I think they should have made more of those missions mandatory. The payoff on some of them is too great to be ignored and add loads to the combat.
