    Journey [PSN]

Downloaded an hour ago and just finished the first chapter. Its a very strange game so far and true to what they said gives you absolutely no direction on what you are doing and what you are doing it for, my best bet being it is using music as communication, completely unique and stunning to look at so far, I like so far, I like a lot

Why they change a good name that everybody identifies with? SEN, sounds like some kinda of old peoples charity or something?

Really want this. But PSN is giving me issues it has been happening for me for the last couple of weeks before i even became a plus subscriber. Only way around it was buying codes. Keep getting the error code 80021302 even though i have funds in my account. Got in touch with playstation and they escalated it to the network team, probably won't hear from them again.

Completed this earlier, took about 90 minutes so it's up to you to decide wether you think that makes it worth a tenner or not.

While it lasts it's a very enjoyable and beautiful experience that has an amazing atmosphere, I love how you see other people who are playing the game at the same time as you are, I spent a large part of my "journey" traveling with another guy, it felt I was on a real adventure...

.....of course then it ended (quite abruptly) and that was that.

Games have became Art. Absolutely beautiful game which is dripping in atmosphere and looks amazing. 10 quid is a bargain. Love all TGC games. Wonder whats next seeing this is the 3 game deal up with Sony.

I'll be honest for me it's not really doing that much, it feels very smoke and mirrors to hide what is really a very basic game, maybe I have just missed the point but so far I'm fairly indifferent to it - Flower is better

It's not even called SEN is it? it's a SEN account but you are still loggin on to PSN.

90 mins long? I am a little bit shocked at that.
Although, I can't tell you why I was expecting longer as it's all about the experience with Games Company games, just kinda makes me sad the experience won't last longer, any replay value different routes or new stuff?
Definitely buying it next week though, when I can.

You know what, I really wouldn't rush mate there is no hurry the actual gameplay (so far) is extremely basic, yes it's different and pretty but......90 mins for a pretty much straight line hmm, I just don't think it's anything special (I hope I'm wrong)

There are a bunch of collectibles in the game, there's a trophy for finding them all, but thats all the replay value there is, chasing trophies. There are no different routes to take or anything like that.

Personally I feel that 10 quid is slightly steep a price for this. Might be worth waiting for a sale to be honest, I doubt you will want to play it more than once, or well you won't want to revisit it for a while anyway.

I have to agree with this it's beautiful yes, innovative yes, over in 90 mins yes it's not really a game if I'm being honest you don't need to really do very much besides hammer circle or x. It is an experience but has less gameplay than even flower I walked away from it a little bored truth be told

Y'know that feeling you get every once in a blue moon where you truly, absolutely know that what you've just experienced will be indelibly branded in your heart as something purely wonderful? The feeling that gets you blathering about this particular form of media like a pretentious ponce?

The last time I felt this was after finishing Shadow of the Colossus for the first time six years ago.

I'm not going to attempt to justify how I felt when experiencing Journey so I won't be openly disagreeing with anyone's feelings that differ from mine - I'm simply thrilled to have had something strike such a cord with me.

I've purposefully avoided using the term "game" and emphasised the elements of feeling and experience in this comment - after being desensitised to countless videogames that feature identical mechanics with diminishing returns in terms of the enjoyment they provide, to experience something that stirred such genuinely unique feelings in me for its duration was startling, refreshing and fantastic in equal measures.

Not the most insightful First Play comment I've ever made but to detail individual elements is missing the point. My first play of this will live with me for a long time; I hope I don't have to wait another six years before I get to feel this again.
