Got this yesterday for my boy really, but I've spent an hour or so with it and it's good fun, the pod racing handles well for Kinect but with very simple controls, the dancing is just bonkers , like dance central but nowhere near as good, I've done an hour the main quest and I quite like it, The controls are ok, with some usual lag, with Kinect, all in all after 2 hours I'm quite impressed it will no doubt sell buy the bucketload, but as an old gamer my main concern with Kinect is standing up all the time, videogames are a form of me relaxing and I just prefer to sit with a controller, but if you like and have Kinect you could do. A lot worse than this.

I'm not sure if the overwhelming crap reviews had set my expectations really low for this but I have to say what Ive played so far was quite good fun the pod racing works brilliantly and the lightsaber seemed quite responsive. for me as a starwars fan this isn't half bad I've played and seen some pretty unresponsive kinetic stuff, Disney land adventures infuriates my kids but this isn't as bad as its been made out to be.
My top tip for responsive lightsaber controls is hold a wiimote in your hand can't rember which review recommended this but it works a treat lolLast edited by Lebowski; 05-04-2012, 18:59.

Just set up my nephew's kinder and this is the first thing he wanted to play. He loves it. I have has a go at the dancing and rancour rampage. Both were great fun and kinect seemed to track what I was doing excellently. Lag was the only thing letting it down. If they can get rid of that by whatever means (stacks of processing power I imagine) then I reckon kinect could produce some real killer games. Made me want to play child of Eden on kinect actually.
