Used my usual seed for new mash-up. Used Halloween. Quite a nice seed (on large of course). Not done much exploring. Islands visible across the water. I think you start on an island but have not gone in one direction yet.

Made my usual bedrock level chamber (large) and after some expansion have had some Slimes appear. Resources seem good. I have three stacks of iron, half a stack of gold and diamonds and plenty of Redstone and sufficient coal.

For economy of coal I only use the furnace when I have 8 of an item to "cook".

Must explore further with a Creative copy.

Patiently awaiting the new console update, which was passed to Sony and Microsoft last week. It brings it pretty much up to date with the PC version. Needless to say there will be a new Tutorial.

Existing seeds will now create a different layout of the land post update. I need a good seed to use...

Another new "feature". Your Bonus Chest will only be there the one time, when you create the world...
