The Knife is instant kill if done from behind isnt it? with the alternate slower stab.

Not really a FPS, but Gears of War doesn't do that either...

I'm not sure if I want this. Might download the 360 trial...but even then, I don't know whether to go for the 360 or the PC. I'd likely play the PC one a little less but obviously it'll have more staying power overall since the xbox is on the way out.

Gears of war has the same system as Halo where it sticks over the enemy and slows down the aim.

Yeah I still love the Source engine myself. Valve seem to produce more muted lighting and it does real world locations really nicely. Half Life 2 and Left 4 Dead have some of the nicest art direction this generation in my opinion, and this release is no different.

Having given the XB360 version a go I can see why it will never really take off on console. Limited numbers (5v5??) and the godawful controls made it a real chore to play as the game needs accuracy.

Will stick to PC.
