Finished this last night really enjoyed the metroidvania aspects of it but the story is garbage and it really lacks the atmosphere or difficulty level of the metroid games. This aside I did enjoy it and will be going back too hover up the last few remaining secrets and bits of treasure now I have all dusts skills.

Playing this at the moment. I love it to pieces, including the character art, apart from the screen filling chat scene graphics.

Controls are nice, and the puzzles are fair and not too taxing for my addled noggin.

The fact that you can find

      other xbla arcade game characters

is a really nice touch, I think it's great how many dev's are doing this - shows a nice bit of solidarity in the industry I think.

I'm nearing completion of my first playthrough on tough, and sort of wish that I hadn't hoovered up so many of the collectibles so quickly as it 'might' be dragging a bit. It's not quite on par with C:SOTN, or Metroid but it's damn close in my book.

Quite simply, it's been the ideal change of pace for me. Excellent stuff.

I played this through recently and thought it was quite excellent too - in particular the graphics are superb, and the gameplay solid. It's very clear that this is the labour of one guy's love though, as the characters and story-telling are very uncommon and exactly the kind of thing you can imagine a larger team of people turning down or outright vetoing. It didn't ruin it for me but I think it could sour some very quickly, which is a real shame.

Definitely got my eye on whatever the dev goes on to next though, to clearly demonstrate this diverse a range of skills in your first solo title is an incredible achievement.

Still think this looks stunning from the trailer. 360 arrives today, I dare say this will be downloaded over the weekend, looking forward to it.

What does it cost? I have no idea what points equal in pounds! (Should be available on a ****ing disc anyway!)

That's not too bad I suppose. Not that it will stop me resenting downloading games instead of getting a physical copy. This will be my major gripe in the coming weeks...............

You should have got a Microsoft Xbox 360 X. It comes pre-loaded with 20 fantastic games.
                        Kept you waiting, huh?

I've heard the build quality is poor though and there will be no follow up titles. So in the words of Duncan Bannatyne, i'm out.

Yes C , but the big con is you need to splash out on 1500 at least to buy it.

There's a few download games I want, so i'll be buying whatever the biggest points card is anyway. A quick search says 6000?

yeah, but maybe 2 x 4200 is better? Dunno, I rarely buy them in that quantity (I wait for a 'you've been a good boy' award from work and get them then).
