The talk in here has gotten me excited for this game again. The only question is if shall buy it on the PS3 (which has the best pad for fighters), or wait for the Wii U version (which has additional content/features, and presumably a general lower skill level online).

At the moment I'm at around a 40% win ratio with Alisa, playing Solo. I've played around 160 games ranked so far. This went down quite a bit.
One thing I've been reading everywhere, is that reaction time is key. If you're playing defensively, you should be able to wait for a block, then immediately retaliate with a quick move, but your reactions need to be absolutely spot on.
Now that I've started to do that, and time my retaliations a lot more (and abusing the fact that hardly anyone seems to block low), my wins have been crawling all the way back up again and I'm at 3rd dan once more.
Now I just need to learn how to effectively play with a tag team. I only know Alisa.

How was my general play btw? I seem to favour Jun/Asuka currently, I feel more confident with them- but I don't want a combo of both of them because they're fighting style is too similar so hard to mix it up...
I enjoy Steve, Forest Law and Kazuya... But I'm not sure how good I was with them.
My Single Jun vs your single Alisa was very even at the end! I enjoyed that as I got to focus on learning Alisa's mix up combos and how to retaliate!
