The talk in here has gotten me excited for this game again. The only question is if shall buy it on the PS3 (which has the best pad for fighters), or wait for the Wii U version (which has additional content/features, and presumably a general lower skill level online).

      1) Tekken is a very defensive game and I've not been playing defensively at all.
      2) I keep backrolling. I need to learn to tech roll more.

At the moment I'm at around a 40% win ratio with Alisa, playing Solo. I've played around 160 games ranked so far. This went down quite a bit.

One thing I've been reading everywhere, is that reaction time is key. If you're playing defensively, you should be able to wait for a block, then immediately retaliate with a quick move, but your reactions need to be absolutely spot on.

Now that I've started to do that, and time my retaliations a lot more (and abusing the fact that hardly anyone seems to block low), my wins have been crawling all the way back up again and I'm at 3rd dan once more.

Now I just need to learn how to effectively play with a tag team. I only know Alisa.
      Good games earlier!!

        360 or PS3 version peeps?

And which version loads quicker when they are both installed?

Haven't played ps3 but 360 is pretty damned fast- cant say I've really noticed any loading.

Snoop dogg is part if a preorder scheme, a normal copy won't have it - although it's becoming free Dlc later on. It's not that bad, it's only one stage

Aye, some very good games we played indeed. I get the feeling I'd be able to perform a lot better with a P.Jack / Jack-6 team now I've got the defensive / retaliation play down.

Alisa is the only character I actually know how to play at the moment, but I plan on getting that practice down.

I struggled more against Alisa than Jack, more because I'm more aware of his moveset I guess. Alisa is newer and not spent alot of time with/ against her, and didn't spend too long on Tekken 6. Maybe play a tag team of the two? Best of both worlds!

How was my general play btw? I seem to favour Jun/Asuka currently, I feel more confident with them- but I don't want a combo of both of them because they're fighting style is too similar so hard to mix it up...

I enjoy Steve, Forest Law and Kazuya... But I'm not sure how good I was with them.

My Single Jun vs your single Alisa was very even at the end! I enjoyed that as I got to focus on learning Alisa's mix up combos and how to retaliate!

Only had a quick go last night but seems to be a solid game (PS3) that plays well and builds decently on Tekken 6.

I will join the Bordersdown WTF (hehe) group shortly - did not realise I already had a Namco account, but it turns out it's sharing the same one that I registered to my Bana pass for Taiko when I was in Tokyo. So if you see some nob join with a name in kana, it's probably me.

I've only just figured out that I need to send out invites to join the team.

If you're on Xbox 360, PM me your gamertag that's linked to a WTF account (hehehe) and I'll send an invite.

Has anybody had any framerate issues with the 360 version?

Had a great time today in pair play with my cousins. I love not having to buy a multitap lol I must've missed out on plenty of great 4 player games because of that...
