    Torchlight II (PC) review

well obviously will be compared to diablo 3 while the budget nowhere near that of diablo 3 i think from what i have played i prefer this to diablo 3 while the graphics are more cartoony i just find the combat more satisfying

now i can constantly use health potions as soon as i like....i can put points into the skills i find useful just stuff i have missed so much

All i can say is if you loved diablo 2 but hated 3 then get this game

and still think the pet being sent back to sell loot is a great idea

Great game. Have I got you on Steam man? I'll be playing this quite regularly.

Looks good if nothing new. I just wish you could play with a gamepad..doubt I will buy the full version as I wanted to play this chilling out in front of the big TV.

V tempted with this, especially to complement loot em up of borderlands 2. But are the loot drops still as crazy as the first? I remember the battlefield would be buried under utterly worthless junk after just seconds of combat.

Yeah id like to know this too. The first was insane when it came to loot, and the menus felt very console centric (despite it being released on the PC first). The equipment screens wernt very easy on the eye, basically turning into a giant vertical list of stuff that you needn't have bothered picking up in the first place.

Picked this up over the weekend and really enjoying it. Not entirely sure I like the way it controls but then again that is probably just me, I am mostly a console gamer not a pc gamer.

Seems fairly big, has anyone who played through got an idea of how many hours this is roughly ?

played the demo on Steam but found it weaker than Diablo 3 on console. there's no controller support and the atmosphere is a bit too colourful and light hearted for my linking. looks very polished otherwise and there are also lots of great mods available, even ones that change the tone of the game to a more darker one. maybe i pick it up when i am done with Diablo 2 and 3.
