    Initial EU sales have been disappointing; 44% down on the first All-Stars Racing, according to TSSZ. When you consider the more aggressive price point for this release, it's even more of a grim picture. Hopefully it'll turn out to have the long tail it deserves, or our chances of DLC could be limited.

      Ouch. That surprises me given the time of year and bargain price though I guess it's got stiff competition in the Xmas rush?

      I'm recommending it to all my friends anyway, doing my bit. It's such a great game.

          no shenmue track, its 5 sonic, 2 JSR, 2 Samba, 1 Monkey Ball, 1 Nights, 1 Shinobi, 1 Afterburner, 1 Golden Axe, 1 Panzer Dragoon, 1 HofD, 1 Outrun, 1 Billy Thacher, 1 Burning Rangers and a Sega themed Rainbow Road with a massive lake.

          Might be more past the 200 star lock up but im bit off doing that... only just got 165 for AGES which i think hands down is the best character, Car is

          Daytona with Announcer sounds from daytona, Plane is Tomcat with afterburner sound effects, boat is a Dreamcast Pad that makes all the dreamcast start up menu sounds.. and the podium is a VMU.

            I really hope this game is simply a slow burner, or many of the potential buyers are waiting for the WiiU release.

                    Anyone else here prefer if this would be a straight car racer? I don't mind the boat and plane parts, but the car handling is just sublime. I wish it was all just car racing.

                    Great game, though. Loving the fan service. Two hours in, so I haven't seen a whole lot (can't wait for the Burning Rangers track).

                    Also, the soundtrack is amazing. That Golden Axe and Afterburner music, oh my god, I had the amp turned up to 11.

                      The Burning rangers track is the worst one for me. It's just a mess of blind turns I found. I still play it though just because that Burning Rangers music begs me to.

                        Shame, thanks for the info though... Is there a green hill zone one? There should be tracks from Daytona et al I reckon.

                        Though an Outrun track sounds good.

                          I missed the Skies of Arcadia track to..

                          Alot of the straight driving and things like Green hill can be found in 1st game along with a ton of music from Sonic Adv to Sonic R. The current tracks are all made to change as you complete laps, typically for most tracks lap2 or 3 some part or all of the track is getting messed up somehow (warship bombardment on SoA track rips the island apart while, Sonic track sanctuary a city in the sky crumbles like the stage did in sonic3).

                          Sonic tracks. 1 = some level from after SA2 as i don't remember it, 2 = casino based one(from allstars1 without the upside downbits), 3 = Sanctuary form sonic3, 4 = i think is SA2 last level sliding on pink poles towards Deathegg, 5 = Death Egg (almost an exact copy from Allstars1)

                            The Sonic levels are Ocean Palace and Casino Park from Sonic Heroes, Sky Sanctuary and the Death Egg from Sonic & Knuckles and Starlight Carnival from Sonic Colours.

                              Agreed. Huge disappointment. The boat bit before the finish line is just outright terrible. The only good bit is indeed the music and sound effects.

                                Am I imagining things or is the Wii U frame rate a little better than the PS3 version?

                                I'm loving the little Wii U touches, like when you launch a weapon behind you and you get the PiP showing its trajectory.
