Super Crate Box Vita review

I would post some impressions but after downloading it yesterday it won't load.

I have never played Super Crate Boy before. So, basically, this is great.

So far only done the tutorial and had a few goes on the first level. You are a little crate shaped man who collects crates. Each crate has a weapon inside it. Jump around the screen, avoid or shoot enemies and collect enough crates to get to the exit.

Nice and simple but really compelling at the same time. Weapons get upgraded, enemies flood the screen and it seems to give a really nice level of challenge.

I think it was about ?2.50 on the PSN so maybe more than the iOS version (I think) but worth it from what I have played so far, great pick up and play title.

Ive got it, is fantastic, I think the key is to use the correct weapon at the correct time, i have problems with the disc shooter and the machine gun. I t took me ages just to do the first level as i kept getting to 8 or 9 crates. The Vita version is better because of the pad. I think playstation mobile has some fantastic games on there, all reasonably priced, sixty second shooter deluxe being one,Fuel Tiracas another. Course next to nobody will buy it as even hardcore people think its dead system , maybe it can go on like the 360 in japan, with a loyal following, or hope its fortunes turn round next year.
