There seems to be plenty of them available, but if they're going to introduce a boatload of lag then I'll have to think about another solution?
You could get an extension cable Adrian. Hide it behind stuff so nobody can see it ECT.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

The thing is though for publishers to be interested in getting games to it (exclusive or otherwise) it needs to be selling units, and that means getting the casual crowd in, because the hardcore wont be interested.
To be fair, if some WiiU games don't appear over here it will hardly be Nintendo's fault, they are at least trying to change their image with the Wii you but it probably won't ever happen now, and there may not be a market for a lot of games released on the console.. For instance this is a conversation I had with a workmate at around the time of the consoles European launch.....

Me: So I bought a Wii U the other day, the prices in the shops are ridiculous, 49.99 for Black Ops 2.

Workmate: What price is that on proper consoles? ?39.99?

Me: What do you mean proper consoles?

Workmate: You know one with good graphics and a proper joypad.

Me: The wiiU is a proper console.

Workmate: No I mean a proper console

Me: It is a proper console.

Workmate: By proper console I mean one thats not made by Nintendo.

Sadly people are very ignorant when it comes to Nintendo, despite the undeniable quality of their games.

        That's a bit sad.

You should have asked him if by "proper consoles" he meant the Vita

TBH I am not too bothered about some of the more obscure Jap games these days, but if games like Game & Wario and 101 are delayed in the EU for no reason then it will be bye bye to Nintendo from me im afraid ... They can cite the usual 'localisation' excuse if they want, but if they want to play with the big boys then they need to be prepared to actually act like it.

I guess we will find out soon enough, but if we are talking about 3 or 4 months difference between releases then that will be the last straw for me.

Some people don't like saving princess's for the 341st time, and everything being pink.

You will never get lag from a sensor bar, all thats in the sensor bar are 2 infra red emitting leds. The cable that goes into the console does nothing but provide those 2 leds with power. There is no magical data transfer or anything.

I'd just get a wireless one, the battery lasts quite a bit in them and they work just the same as the official, hell you could even find them in poundland at one point.

I did not know that! Many thanks.

You can even make a sensor bar from a pair of candles, look for it on youtube lol.

If you own a 3DS you should have sold it by now then. Fire Emblem has taken over 10 months. You can't have one standard for one console and one for another.

I have sold my 3DS for that very reason ...

(Actually it was to fund my XL ... but don't tell anyone!)

When judging the Wii in the last couple of years, its not hard to see why people dont think of the WiiU as a proper console...

I mean they stuck with the same name, which imo was a mistake, and the original wii was just a pure dust collector in its latter years.....only being serviced here and there by said pink princesses.

The functionality of the Wii left a lot to be desired when compared to the "proper consoles", and thanks to the Wii branding its hardly surprising that people are ignorant to the situation with the new console.

Biggest mistake they made was calling it Wii-U, why? It's nothing like a Wii no wonder it has this perception of being another Wii. The rrp of ?250 was never going to tempt the casual so that decision baffles me.

Nintendo's greatest mistake was not sticking with NES prefixed by an awesome word IMO. Ultra Famicom/NES, Star Famicom/NES etc.

                              U(ber)-NES

If we can come up with better names, Nintendo are screwed.
