The bit is really tough. What I've had most success with is simply dropping off to the right immediately after the checkpoint. Not going down the slopes but rather going to the end of the right side of the first platform and dropping down to the floor with the next flag. You need to go at just the right speed for your wheel-thingy to rotate a full 360 degrees and land on its wheels. If I try to go down all the platforms I usually fail at the second last one.

Gonna try and hold out on this and not play it till christmas day with the family
(might get secret practise in tho )

Sounds like I may need to invest in some wiimotes for multiplayer goodness.
Do you need wii remote plus? What about nunchuks?

Plus is needed for Zelda and Metroid. Metroid also requires nunchuks. Otherwise ordinary wiimotes is all you need.

            Thanks Alex,
Will have to invest in some!

I think this has been unfairly written off by some as just a multiplayer mini game collection when in reality there's actually more solo content than multiplayer.

9 of the 12 games can be played solo and 6 of those are one player only experiances.

there really is a lot more too it than somthing you just bust out at parties.

As a few people have already said its basically a Nintendo themed gaming arcade on a disk.

Let me modify that for you ...

Whilst I agree there is a lot more to this than may seem, I love the new version of Balloon Fight for example ... However the game should be priced at a more reasonable level or it should have been bundled with every console, not just one SKU.

I think the problem is that many people instantly write off games that are compilations, thinking they are shallower than games with a single, focused mode. Even though the depth in this game far exceeds many big blockbuster titles out there. I would even claim most of the modes in this game are deeper than the entirity of Wii Play. Metroid for instance has several modes of play, and more than 20 levels. And the depth in gameplay is real, encouraging repeat plays for increasing your highscore. So for people who enjoy arcade-ish titles (like in the good old days), one of the 12 games alone could offer tons of hours of fun.
They did the same thing with Link's Crossbow Training (which is vaguely comparable?) - it looked like a halfhearted spin off, but actually was a very polished addition to Twilight Princess.

Nintendo Land might be up my alley. I like Nazi Zombies (which is even more arcadey, since it has no ending and is really just about getting points and surviving as long as possible), but I HATE Call of Duty and have often said I'd love this 'mini' game to be on its own disc.

                    Why isn't the price reasonable?

For instance arcade fighters are generally just ports with a few added bells and whistles and they cost ?40.

This is 12 arcade style games and they only cost the price of one disk.

Theres plenty to do and plenty of value in the game.

I'm loving yoshi at the moment. Beat the first stage of DK, but no sign of a 2nd stage...

To get the second stage you need to beat the first stage twice for some reason. There are 4 stages altogether..

Anybody gotten Master rank in the Zelda levels? Some of them seem impossible to beat without losing a heart. I barely scraped by when playing alone, and in my experience the hearts drop a lot faster when there are more people playing. Though maybe I'll just need friends with more skills.

It's much easier to get a master rank on Zelda if you play solely as a swordsman, I got it on the first couple of levels as I was gash at the archery! Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity, as I find myself going all over the place?

I have been playing this since last week and have just had my first multiplayer session.

I am really impressed with this title, i only paid ?15 from Grainger Games but think it certainly warrants a full ?40.

What i like about every game is you learn each time you play. I would really like a fully fledged Zelda title like this, i never thought the game would suit such a linear structure, but is is seriously good. With it being linear, its the battles and the action that takes front stage. I have not has so much fun with a group of mates gaming in a long time.

I have had a bit of time on Animal Crossing and Luigi which are also good but only in short bursts. I played Zelda for 6 hours with 2 mates this afternoon.

I can suggest this title to any Wii u owner as it has something for everybody
