I didnt play the first one on vita, as i played the original to death on xbox years back... i also never played sigma 2 on ps3.
One mission in so far and the first thing that stands out is the sub native resolution, which is a let down after the sharp native res the first game apparently had on vita, although i understand a generation separates the first and second games...so i guess understandable. The frame rate is 30fps once again, although it dips on a few occasions even during the first level.
One thing that hit me is how easy this game feels compared to the brutally challenging Ninja Gaiden black, enemies give away blue orbs constantly, save points are regular and also heal, and enemies are very easily dispatched.
The game is full of fantastic limb slicing/decapitations etc, and blood is all present and correct.
There is a really nice prologue option which comes in the form of a animated comic type thing. Not sure if this was part of the ps3 game, but its nice either way.
Will add much more as i continue through the game.
