The voice commands really are amazing. I'm still getting to grips with the best way to get around, I always forget to say 'Goto' when booting an app or game.
As you could see in the video, you have to refer to the game by its full title, the longer it is the less likely it is to recognise that's whs you've said!
Ryse:Son of Rome is a bit of a mouthful, as is Forza Motorsport 5
I'd like them to offer custom titles in future or have it recognise more commonly used titles such as 'Ryse' or 'Forza'

Are you sure? We were using a machine with all the ames already installed and they were hanging on theloading screen. They didnt load until we connected to the internet.Comment

I'm not impressed with the controller , the aa batteries sometimes come loose inside as it's not a right enough fit when you put the back of the controller on.Comment

For hand gestures you hold your hand up flat palm and wave. It should then appear onscreen though it does have a hard time registering that for me.
Once its onscreen you can close into a fist to grab the screen and the swipe left/right or up\down for fast scroll. You can select by either hovering or pushing your palm towards the screen.
It works but the fact is voice beats it by a land slide.
One other thing. If you've got turtle beach or other headsets that plug in via optical you'll only get stereo but up mixed to pro logic II. The good news is it sounds alright and voice audio comes through the headset as well. This means if you want to game late at night with voice chat you can use these headsets for all audio and either use Kinect for your own voice, or do what I did last night..... Wear the pack in headset as a neck band.
Also have to say. Voice chat quality in this is excellent now.Comment

Loving the one so far. Kinect pre season is amazing and I can't wait for more! Still downloading Forza and can't decide what to get as my second game.
Not sure what battery covers you guys have but mine is fine on the controller which is a great improvement just feels natural.
So now whether to get DR3, BF4 or NBA2K given that Ryse is so short.
