I started the game a couple of months back, and just came back to do the other half this week. Great plot, great action, great ideas... and plenty of unanswered questions from the ending. Thankfully no bugs spotted either... and I got full value from this by going for all the pearls, animals and Mdisks

Of course based on the story and the ending...

Only difference is that Jade had no idea until this story happened.

So what IS Shauni? The Domz priest said he'd been looking for her for centuries, so she must be some powerful (or containing a lot of power) being. If he calls the Hyllians "pitiful energy supplies", then guess he thinks Shauni is some sort of large battery! As said above, is Jade really Shauni in a human like disguide (and a memory wipe) or something else?

As for the Alpha Sections... why is General Keyck helping them? It could possibly be a deal like Benni and Imhotep in "The Mummy"... he helps them to prevent himself and his troops from suffering the same fate as the planets the Domz conquer. But who knows his motives? And we won't find out as of course he died at the end.

Then there was something that appeared rather Metroid Prime like just before "The End" cut in... is Pey'J gonna be taken over as a Domz leech thing appeared out of his hand? Maybe we won't find out.

As for the title of the game, I believe it refers to Shauni. She is beyond good and evil, she is something different, something without any allegance or motive. Well that's what I think at least!

A quick google search reveals the game is bugged to high heaven, so use all the save slots people!

I played the PS2 version from beginning to end and didnt encounter a single bug so it cant be that bad?

Played the Gamecube through and it only crashed once on my machine and that was before a cut scene.

It always make sense to save regularly anyway

I never encountered any bugs in my Xbox version either.

I played it through again with rotating save points (and making sure I had a save point down on the planet for posterity - thanks whoever pointed that out). Just finished. 10 hours, so a short game, but actually a perfect length for me. Lots of lovely touches and a brilliant soundtrack. And for ?15! (vg+)

I've been playing this again on the PC (£3.50 on steam!!) and it really stills looks stunning, it oozes beautiful art design, I can't wait for the new one.

Finally got around to playing this while i've been off work sick, £3 on steam, can't believe I missed it. Fantastic little game, it oozes character and style The camera can be a bit tricky but its what i'd expect from a PS2 era camera.

Looking forward to a sequel if one is in development.

I've recently dug this out for the gamecube and really looking forward to it. I just need to find some bloody time to play it!

SO, anyone buy the HD edition?
                      Man 2003, better times.

Yeah i did, does make me think i shouldn't have spent my 800pts. Theres nothing really HD about it. Looks exactly the same as the pc version. Oh well hopefully those 800pts will give Ubisoft more of an incentive for BGE2.

I'm Really glad they left almost everything the same. Like Wind waker the art style they originally chose doesn't need an extra level of polish. Only WS, resolution bump and a stable framerate were needed. Coming up to halfway through and they've done an excellent job.

I always have minor irrelevant irks so here they are.

They didn't include the original French audio.
They added new button icons with fake scanlines that really jump out against the other UI elements/the game world.
The making of video is an appalling one minute slide show of concept art.

Bought it yesterday and have played a few hours. It's still a great game. Crucially, it's still the same game I seem to remember all the dungeon "puzzles" so far and for some reason the paths in the hovercar races were also fresh in my mind

Playing this & BulletStorm right now and the colorful sci-fi art styles of both games will keep me happy for months.

And 800 pts? So worth it. Even though I've played it on several other platforms before this.

Five rolls of film in, hamazing game. Enjoying it more now than previous playthroughs.

Crashed once when I died in the foot chase scene. Forgot about the

U-turn at the end of it

                              .

A game worthy of it's high praise.

Purchased this the other night, and it is unplayable for me. I play inverted Y-Axis on Xbox, and you can't invert the camera unless you invert the X-Axis as well.

Shame - I was looking forward to replaying again..
