The game is so pretty, I'm really pleased I've photo journaled my progress in the game.
Made my way from the Capital to the lift down to the icy bit.
Loads of those little impy gits, then the summon icon appeared and the ability to summon the girl with the robot arm (Milicent?), so I knew there was a boss coming.
Another massive gargoyle boss, which are a right pain in the tarnished ring.
Anyway, I demonstrated to him my purchase from Trident Warehouse and he went away.
Made it up to the main snowy bits and it's gorgeous, with big cumulonimbus clouds in the distance.
Then I met up with the only Boy Wizard that matter, Zaki Potter!
I don't know what it is with this game that make people want to invade, though.
I don't know what FROM were thinking.
It's like going for a nice meal with friends, but the restaurant encourages strangers to shove their way onto your table, eat your food with their fingers then belch out some racist jokes.
I seem particularly unlucky though. We even had to check my inventory to see I wasn't actively luring people in!
Two attempts killed me, the third fell off a cliff or something.
Bonkers that you can invade infinitum, but there's a finite number of co-op calling items, which you can't drop.
Anyhoo, Zaki and I tried to go into a dungeon, but it was locked in co-op, then walked across a narrow path to the next section and I got bombarded off, so I respawned, opened the dungeon and the grace then called Zak-a-licious back in.
Ooof, it was a tough one. Loads of traps and goblins, but worst of all were a pair of those lucky cat statues than stomp you and fire frostbite. They killed me a fair few times! Zaki was patient enough to get me through the whole dungeon, finishing with a boss we CRUSHED. Got a cool ashes of war for exploring a bonus bit I'd missed, but Zaki told me about.
Excited to unlock a new area with a fair few story bits to tie up.
