Glasgow LAN event (consoles)

Was in my local Gamestation this morning (buying cheap games to trade at GAME) when I saw a flyer for a LAN event, its all console based but so far they are only covering a few games, Halo, Pro Evo 3 being the main ones I think.

Its in the Stuart Hotel, the next event is 19th June.

This takes place quite regularly from just around the corner from where I work, 2 of my co-workers have regularly taken part in the Halo side of things which is what the organisers had mostly concentrated on before. I've heard mostly positive things about it, the only complaint is that high level competition is a bit thin on the ground but obviously that will be solved as more people begin to attend.

I haven't been myself but I could be quite tempted by the Pro Evo side of things.

Hmm, sounds quite good, could do with a few more events like this up and down the country, would be interested in the PGR2 and CM04 events especially.

Any idea what sort of time it takes place at?

I'm a little interested in the Pro Evo thingie, why no VF?
